G Somerset Rover Posted October 24, 2020 Posted October 24, 2020 Harvey Elliot that is ridiculous. Told you this boy was alright Rev ?. 1 Quote
BankEnd Rover Posted October 24, 2020 Posted October 24, 2020 I’m worried for Rothwell as I can’t see him fitting in with Holtby or Elliot. A great back up though nevertheless. Quote
Moderation Lead Popular Post K-Hod Posted October 24, 2020 Moderation Lead Popular Post Posted October 24, 2020 I’m not getting ahead of myself about the season, but we have been absolutely sensational today. Yes they had ten men for most of the match, but you can only beat what’s in front of you, and we’ve annihilated them, let’s be honest. Harvey Elliott is an absolute gem. Brereton has had a blinder. We’ve just been brilliant to watch. Now I’m off out for a substantial meal and several pints. Happy Saturday. 11 Quote

Hence the inconsistent tag, that's not people slating him it's just pointing out facts. And nobody expects strikers to score every week but his pen miss and good chances missed the other night were costly so he was always going to get a bit of grief. Mainly because he had a very poor game all round. Thankfully he's paid it back today. Edited October 24, 2020 by tomphil 1 Quote
Miker Posted October 24, 2020 Posted October 24, 2020 Brereton has a 9.99 rating on Whoscored for today's game. Incredible performance - just unfortunate not to get a goal himself! 5 Quote
Butty Posted October 24, 2020 Posted October 24, 2020 Played some great stuff today, fantastic result and £10 well spent, few beers watching the UFC tonight and hopefully we can produce another big performance against a Reading side who are flying, on Tuesday. COYB, Ben Brereton MOTM today. Looks a different player, never wanted a player to do well for us more than I do Big Ben, I hope he keeps this form up ?? 6 Quote
CrouchingNunhiddenCucumber Posted October 24, 2020 Posted October 24, 2020 Cracking boys, great result, start of a run hopefully Quote

Backroom DE. Posted October 24, 2020 Backroom Posted October 24, 2020 Must've been a while since we recorded two 4-0's in a season, let alone by October and with a 5-0 in there too. Some cracking talent in this team. If we can find a way to keep the goals out against the better teams we have a chance of doing something special this season. 3 Quote
WacoRover Posted October 24, 2020 Posted October 24, 2020 These 11 are great, glad they put on a show today. Well done, lads! 2 Quote
simongarnerisgod Posted October 24, 2020 Posted October 24, 2020 bigger challenge on tuesday night, please keep the same side tony, the match today can`t have taken that much out of us,it was a stroll Quote
superniko Posted October 24, 2020 Posted October 24, 2020 Couldn’t care less if Brereton doesn’t score all season if he continues with these assists. He’ll prob be a 5-10 a season guy but that’s fine in the role he now plays and as a non-setpiece taker. He was brilliant again today, as was Elliott and I think this will continue to be our starting front 3 for the time being. 7 Quote
