superniko Posted October 24, 2020 Posted October 24, 2020 No complaints with that team what so ever. I’d rather have seen Buckley than Johnson in this kind of game but can’t complain. The main thing Tony had to do was replace Bell and Evans with Douglas and Trybull and he’s done that. 1 Quote

Dreams of 1995 Posted October 24, 2020 Posted October 24, 2020 I didn’t think Bell had long left in him. He got dropped for Cunningham too. Let’s hope Douglas is good and stays fit. He’s in good company with a name like that at Ewood though. Trybull obvious choice for Evans. Wonder if Johnson will be the man sacrificed for Rothwell eventually? Happy with the squad today. Should win this one. Quote
AllRoverAsia Posted October 24, 2020 Posted October 24, 2020 Happy with that , lets see how it goes Quote
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted October 24, 2020 Posted October 24, 2020 Bell and Evans out. Finally. 1 Quote
TruRover Posted October 24, 2020 Posted October 24, 2020 Great line up. Feel like we could go on a run from here. Quote
Doug Posted October 24, 2020 Posted October 24, 2020 Looks a good team on paper, presume Ayala is injured. Come on Rovers Quote

Exiled in Toronto Posted October 24, 2020 Posted October 24, 2020 That’s the team for me. I expect us to be much more productive down the right today. Quote

davulsukur Posted October 24, 2020 Posted October 24, 2020 Its an odd feeling not complaining about a Mowbray line up! Good team, feel like he dropped the right players. Quote

He’s a talented player and will come good but I wouldn’t use him as a replacement for Johnson who has more physical presence. He really was. He was the worst player in the team on the day. 3 Quote

Atko's Engine Posted October 24, 2020 Posted October 24, 2020 Like that team, some good ambition there, let's just hope the back 5 work well together & get support defensively from the midfield 3; the signs with Trybull are good... Quote

darrenrover Posted October 24, 2020 Posted October 24, 2020 I don't think any of us will moan at the starting line up. We're all to blame if we shape wooden today! 2 Quote

Late last season he was left out for lacking confidence (although he miraculously regained it for the next game) and this season because 'his numbers were high' amongst other things. I know Nyambe was poor at Watford but so was Lehihan who has arguably been our worst defender this season. I actually called it on Wednesday that Nyambe would be dropped pretty much in the knowledge that Mowbray doesn't need too much of a reason to leave him out. 6 Quote
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted October 24, 2020 Moderation Lead Posted October 24, 2020 Fair play to Mowbray, that’s probably as good a team as he could have fielded. Over to you now lads! Quote
BigBar Posted October 24, 2020 Posted October 24, 2020 I am a massive Nyambe fan. I would stick with him whenever he is fit. But that's just me. 8 Quote
