superniko Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 Elliott, Holtby and Trybull have all done okay. Elliott probably the only one to properly hold his head high. By far our best player today. Armstrong and Brereton both poor, Gallagher and Dolan did little to improve that. The less about the defensive unit the better. Whiteman scores again in another big game for Doncaster, buy out less than £2m and we’ve still got Evans plodding around the middle. As someone said earlier, we’re far too easy to beat. No spine, no passion. 3 Quote

He's been lively today, but he can't do it on his own. People are bafflingly obsessed with Dolan - he doesn't offer much beyond a nice trick and a bit of pace at the moment. Hopefully he'll turn into a useful player down the line. Dolan was dropped for this world beater who has been invisible throughout this entire game. Quote
Joar Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 Why put Davenport on the right of the midfield 3? He's left footed isn't he? So we have a right footed left back, and have the chance to help him out with a left footed midfielder, but put him on the opposite side? Quote

Holtby's delivery is really good. Exactly. As a unit, our set piece work at both ends is terrible. Quote

In that role he's asked to run, which I'm not sure he can do - he's better suited for the position Trybull is currently playing imo. Quote
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 Concede soft goals, don't take chances. Repeat adinfinitum. Feck off Mowbray. 2 Quote
West Yorks Rover Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 final 29 mins not a single effort at Swansea's goal, they either have an excellent defence or we are a very poor team. Quote

Waste of money The damage was done when he signed Brereton instead of strengthening defence, then signing Gallagher who looks like a pub team player without the effort. Mowbray bet the farm on those two and we're suffering for it. A normal club would have sacked him for wasting money and time. 4 Quote

Kie_BRFC Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 Who was it that said this was the best football we have ever played? 2 wins against newly relegated teams and 1 against an out of sorts derby side. Tony’s had more than enough time to sort this defence out, unacceptable Quote
