Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 Good finish from Brereton Quote
bluebruce Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 Go on Ben! Tricky finish that, especially under pressure from the lad behind him Quote

The key for me on why we play so well today versus the last few games is : 1) Kaminski lets us play so much higher. He forms a third CB with the defenders going wide when we are in the opposition half. Pears just can't do that and it means the whole 433 doesn't really work as it sits too deep. 2) Rothwell allows us to run from deep so effectively and transition to attack. He covers a lot more ground and uses the ball a lot more effectively than Evans, Johnson and Trybull. 3) QPR haven't done their home work and seem to like to play open and and a high line. Also they don't seem have any special players who can beat out 1 on 1. The absolute key players for me in this system are are Kaminski and Rothwell. Without them we need a different way of playing. Missed Kaminski hugely when he’s been out. He’s wonderful 2 Quote
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 Harvey Elliott at 17 looks far better technically and physically than the 3 year senior Buckley. Quote

Yeh remembered when they showed it again at half time. Tbh that was a fairly standard save for me, Arma didn't get enough power or placement on it. You get annoyed with your keeper if they miss that. But ok yeh it was another good chance. Quote
WacoRover Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 BB, helping his team & easing the fans angst. I’m very happy Quote

He is. It's why a PL team bought him at 15 while 'footballing men' value Buckley in the seven figures, but never put in an offer. Quote
