Backroom DE. Posted November 24, 2020 Backroom Posted November 24, 2020 Lol. Won't get a game much easier than that at this level. Cheers PNE. Dolan getting on the scoresheet is the cherry on top. 1 Quote
Neal Posted November 24, 2020 Posted November 24, 2020 Thinking of that Preston fan who said we'll "never do anything with that Dinosaur Mowbray in charge"... Alex Neils side were embarrassing. Looked like a league 2 side who we'd drawn in the cup. 8 Quote
neophox Posted November 24, 2020 Posted November 24, 2020 This is ROVERS! Now go on a Run! Brereton showed today why we signed him. He was oustanding all game. So happy for Dolan. Everyone played well tonight. COME ON ROVERS! 8 Quote

booth Posted November 24, 2020 Posted November 24, 2020 Gallagher and especially Brereton actually looked like players tonight, but everyone contributed to the result. When they click they click, I hope they can find some consistency. 2 Quote

Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted November 24, 2020 Moderation Lead Posted November 24, 2020 Can’t fault tonight’s performance at all, it was a massacre, if I’m being honest. PNE were appalling. £10 very well spent. Lovely. Quote

den Posted November 24, 2020 Posted November 24, 2020 That’s as commanding a performance that I remember. Very happy tonight, superb stuff rovers, 2 Quote
tomphil Posted November 24, 2020 Posted November 24, 2020 Excellent stuff tonight Mowbray got it spot on and the boys delivered, one of our Dr Jekyll performances again thankfully. Outplayed them and bullied them with the ball so they resorted to the nasty stuff the tossers. Strangely subdued performance from them but we'll take it. Waited a long time to see us dick them there. Stuff it up ya you tinpot knobends ! 6 Quote

The transformation in Brereton is unbelievable. He was either on drugs and has stopped or he wasn't and now he is. Well done to the lad, I'm delighted to have been proved wrong. Now that Gallagher...... 3 Quote

Haven’t read the last ten pages yet but will enjoy doing so. Looked at the stats and it seems like we murdered them. Come on Rovers and TM. Let’s take the game to the opposition every time. This squad could just have what it takes. 1 Quote
jim mk2 Posted November 24, 2020 Posted November 24, 2020 Total opposite to the Luton game when we looked weak and ineffective..... why can't Mowbray get the team to play like that more often? 2 Quote
SamTheShrew Posted November 24, 2020 Posted November 24, 2020 Thoroughly enjoyable result and great to see Dolan given his chance. Means nothing though if we can’t now go and beat Barnsley and get some consistency going. 1 Quote

Roversider Posted November 24, 2020 Posted November 24, 2020 (edited) Excellent performance, several players are now beginning to shine - Brereton, Wharton, Gallagher. Really delighted to see Wharton handling the physical side well. WE need to take this performance into the next two home games, Barnsley and Millwall need to be dealt with just as effectively. TM is going to have some selection headaches now. Preston were lucky to get nil. Edited November 24, 2020 by Roversider 5 Quote
