superniko Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 Lack of balance for me really, nothing in the middle. Elliott still looks like he’s playing wide, making it a 4-2-4. 1 Quote
G Somerset Rover Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 (edited) Just now, DE. said: Our inconsistency from game to game is the biggest problem. You can never tell which Rovers are going to turn up and it's been that way throughout Mowbray's tenure. Sometimes we're really up for it, other times it's like the lads have stumbled out of the pub and onto the pitch. Certain players more so than others. Typically at our worst at home since the restart too. We seem to be largely well drilled and have a game plan away from home. At Ewood we look like a bunch of strangers pretty much everytime we take to the pitch. Edited December 2, 2020 by Gavlar Somerset Rover! Quote
West Yorks Rover Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 (edited) Nothing from Rovers since we scored or before we scored for that matter. Edited December 2, 2020 by West Yorks Rover Quote
SoldierMo Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 Everytime we attack we have looked dangerous just bloody not attcked enough....going to be a wasted opportunity 1 Quote
tomphil Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 Too much fecking about with yet again trying to be clever then the oppo just come and get in our faces and stop it. Hopefully the habit of turning things around will finally set in 2nd half but i'm not confident. Quote

SBlue Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 Ended ok, but must do better. If we’re playing Elliott in midfield (which I don’t think is working out too well) we have to get him on the ball more. Quote
Angry_Pirate Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 Cant cope with their 3-4-3 formation. ... Also can't seem to cope with them wearing the (almost) exact same kit. Quote
CrouchingNunhiddenCucumber Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 Improved towards the end of the half but overall that was shite. Quote

Not sure who we bring off though... Quote
Paul Mellelieu Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 Defence looks okay, attack is okay it's the bit in between that's not working. Quote
G Somerset Rover Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 Well I would say we can’t play any worse second half, but we’ve been horse sh*te for a game and a half now. Quote
Doug Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 Not a great first half. Three up front really leaves us lacking legs in midfield. Gally off, Rothy on. Commentator said bell has been here 4 years, please get a replacement soon Tony. 1 Quote
jim mk2 Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 Poor half. Team all over the place. Holtby awful. Gallagher on the wing. Plus ca change Quote
Backroom DE. Posted December 2, 2020 Backroom Posted December 2, 2020 (edited) Second time in five days we've been outplayed at home by a team we should be taking the game to. We were fortunate on Saturday and maybe we will be again tonight, but TM needs to study what's happened over these past couple of games and work out what is causing us to struggle. Attacking-wise we have players that should be posing much more of a threat than we're seeing. Defence is what it is, can't do much about that. Edited December 2, 2020 by DE. 2 Quote

Ianrally Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 I’m puzzled how Milwall are allowed to play in green and WHITE halves, when you have to change the colour of your shorts if they clash. 1 Quote
benhben Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 Id Get Rothwell and dolan on. Brereton looks nackered and elliot despite the goal doesnt look like a centre mid. need some energy in the side. Their 4 accross the middle especially out wide is overrunning our midfield 3 Quote
TheWeasel Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 I feel like the back four is way too narrow and the midfield aren’t picking up their men going back. We’ll get punished if we continue like that 1 Quote

Backroom Silas Posted December 2, 2020 Backroom Posted December 2, 2020 Amari Bell most of that half: 8 Quote
ben_the_beast Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 Holtby anonymous, Johnson looks unfit and immobile and we are getting completely overloaded on our left. Bell has done quite well considering it's been 2 v 1 against him much of the time. Arma looks sharp and up for it. Would like to see Gally off, Elliott right and Rothwell on Quote
