BigBar Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 Think Gally been decent so far. Warrants no more criticism than anyone else 1 Quote

This rovers side is not the same side as last season. I have that horrible feeling of optimism that only football can give you 2 Quote

Oldgregg86 Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 A few goals in this and who knows we might get a few more gigs on sky . Can’t think of a better half of football I’ve watched on sky this season Quote
benhben Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 Gallagher is really bad at getting accross the defender and shielding the ball. The amount of times a defender nicks the ball from behind him. Quote
Backroom Tom Posted December 9, 2020 Backroom Posted December 9, 2020 How can a non existent crowd be so annoying? Quote
G Somerset Rover Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 Johnson not on his game tonight for me, too slow and ponderous on the ball. COYB, let’s get one before half time. 2 Quote
superniko Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 Keepers kit has a bit of a Tim Flowers vibe to it. 3 Quote

Wood26 Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 Hope the shackles come off Rothwell, bar one move he’s been sat in at centre half most the game. Quote
jim mk2 Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 Rovers playing nicely, team looks well balanced and confident. Just lacking that final ball Mowbray doesn't need to swap players Quote

TheRoversReturn Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 Good half, two teams both going for it and the only surprise is that it's goalless. Quote
Miker Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 I wonder if Bristol move Wells to the right in the second half. Nyambe has him in his pocket. Elliott has been excellent, Gally has been good too... both creating chances for Arma, who has been very wasteful. Arma better score, but if he continues with the wayward shots and wrong decisions I would bring Dolan on instead. Maybe it's even time for Chapman to come on and be the hero. Quote
LDRover Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 I thought we played that half like a testimonial. Need to up it in the second half or we'll get done with a sucker punch. 1 Quote

Straight swap for Davenport will be just the ticket I think. Buckley would be okay too. 1 Quote
Backroom DE. Posted December 9, 2020 Backroom Posted December 9, 2020 (edited) Not a bad half. We've played some lovely stuff at times but lack a cutting edge. Other than Arma's chance when he was put in by Elliot I can't think of any proper clear cut chances we created. Bristol had the better chances and should probably have netted a couple, but fortunately their finishing is as bad as our defending has been at times tonight. Entertaining game but I thought we'd impose a little more on a decimated Bristol City side. Hopefully a more dominant second half. Edited December 9, 2020 by DE. 1 Quote
Exiled_Rover Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 Midfield looks flat to me. I'd bring on a sub or two to liven things up. Quote

If we played for a thousand years Armstrong's not coming off at 0-0. You don't take off your best source of goals by miles. 1 Quote
jny Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 Too wasteful in attack, and too open at the back... It's enough to cause a heart attack 2 Quote
