benhben Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 Get Dolan or Chapman on for Gallagher. Shockingly bad going forward. Need some quality Quote
Bigdoggsteel Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 Has he lost them? Very poor Get Roy Keane in lol 1 Quote
Fraserkirky Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 Absolutely dreadful first half. Totally sick of this crap. Out worked, out ran, out muscled and out thought. 1 Quote
CambridgeRover Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 Rothwell needs to be further forward Get Gallagher off for a proper winger Get Johnson off for anyone Quote
joey_big_nose Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 This has fallen into exactly the same pattern as we have experienced whenever we play against 3 at the back. We lose all the space and dynanism that we have against a back 4. We just don't create chances. Really thought we would have a plan B... We need an extra midfielder on the pitch and get wider. Front three are currently totally isolated, midfield overwhelmed. Quote

He should be buzzing all over this pitch but he's hiding and taking a back seat. Lad's not good enough for this level. End of. Davenport should be ahead of him. Hell Lyons deserves a start ahead of him as well. 2 Quote

Popular Post Exiled_Rover Posted December 16, 2020 Popular Post Posted December 16, 2020 Thank goodness Douglas is only on loan, he's absolutely finished at this level. 10 Quote
booth Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 Why didn't he buy a wide player if he wanted to play this way? Same old same old int'it. Douglas terrible again. 1 Quote

I feared Mowbray’s death run wasn’t quite over with just the one draw and two defeats. Quote
Bigdoggsteel Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 If Gallagher isn't going to dominate players with his size and strength at all, what is he going to do to be useful to the team? I'm not saying he doesn't try 2 Quote

davulsukur Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 Poor half. We say it every week but he really, really needs to bin off this Gallagher outwide rubbish. He's woeful. 1 Quote

I would say ‘stop playing strikers on the wing FFS!’ but I’ve given up with Mowbray on this. Just like I know he’ll never ever sort our defence out. 2 Quote
simongarnerisgod Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 a decent side would stretch this rotherham team all over the park and get in behind them, ffs all we do is pass it square in front of them 1 Quote
ben_the_beast Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 In the majority of our games recently we've lost the ability to control possession in midfield. Constantly playing it back to the back line for pointless possession. We just can't seem to maintain that possession higher up the pitch anymore and its costing us. Also Douglas is awful. 1 Quote

Im on the verge of making my mind up on him (for now of course, always happy to see a marked improvement). For now, so far, overall since he got his debut, he hasn't shown enough for me to see what some people jizz about. I think he is technically decent but nowhere near as much so as some make out, sometimes his passing is dire and lately he keeps giving the ball away in games. I don't think his game intelligence is as good as it should be for a player of his type (frail but technical). I also agree he doesn't seem brave enough. So far from this game he would be straight back on the bench Saturday if at all possible. 1 Quote

It nulls us unless Rothwell or Elliot do something amazing. We just simply do not move the ball quickly enough ,often enough wide and with quality Edited December 16, 2020 by Bigdoggsteel Quote
Doogs Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 I have lost all hope under Tony. Even forgot we wer playing today.. Quote
