Tugay's Right Foot Posted December 19, 2020 Posted December 19, 2020 Gally 3/10 so far. Not winning or holding balls 1 Quote
USABlue Posted December 19, 2020 Posted December 19, 2020 Gally and Douglas on the end of that, you know nothing will come of it. Quote

Most teams would struggle if three starting CBs were out. Why did we sign an injury prone player knowing our other 2 main centre backs were injury prone? Quote
Cherry Blue Posted December 19, 2020 Posted December 19, 2020 Try as we may we aren't going to get through a packed defense. Quote
Stuart Posted December 19, 2020 Posted December 19, 2020 This is another poor poor game. Men against boys. Quote
USABlue Posted December 19, 2020 Posted December 19, 2020 I don't think this 11 can beak Stoke down. Quote

Proudtobeblue&white Posted December 19, 2020 Posted December 19, 2020 It's as if they are happy to win 1-0. Quote
Doogs Posted December 19, 2020 Posted December 19, 2020 Look at the job Neil Warnock has done at Boro. Nearly went down last season. Has the team organised...Tony hasn't achieved that as yet.. 1 Quote
Sparks Rover Posted December 19, 2020 Posted December 19, 2020 Nyambe having a blinder apparently. Well done Tony. They'll be queuing to sign him Quote

Exiled_Rover Posted December 19, 2020 Posted December 19, 2020 Absolutely bossing this, just struggling to break them down and missed our clear cut chance. 1 Quote

joey_big_nose Posted December 19, 2020 Posted December 19, 2020 Stoke look absolutely terrible.... Can't believe we haven't created more. Slips and mis control in the final third... 1 Quote
simongarnerisgod Posted December 19, 2020 Posted December 19, 2020 we are dominating the game but have no end product, get a decent, ambitious manager he`d sort us out within a week,no outstanding teams in this division that`s what is driving me mad,it`s there for the taking Quote
New Jeru Posted December 19, 2020 Posted December 19, 2020 (edited) For all the possession we have, far too much of it is with players who aren't looking to do anything with it. Not just today, but almost every game I've seen this season. Trybull is having his best game I've seen him play, but between him, Johnson, the centre-halves, Kaminski, Douglas and recently Holtby, there's just no threat. Most of them look way more anxious about possibly losing the ball than getting an attack going, so we go side to side over and over. We need to get the ball to our more direct players a lot quicker. It's not like we don't have them. Armstrong, Elliott, Rothwell and even Nyambe can all run with the ball and exploit space and move the opposition around. But instead we go left-back to centre-half to keeper to centre-half to right-back and let them get back into a formation where we struggle to break them down. EDIT - Genuinely not a criticism of Trybull this time, he's doing his job very well, but when we play through him going forward the move is probably doomed.
