Strange how we don’t have the raft of player messages “we go again” “tough one to take” messages on Instagram/Twitter!

Mowbray is trending on twitter!

and to think Mowbray was on the verge of loaning Travis out and only circumstances forced his hand!

Too many soft pussies in our team over the last few years. Can’t imagine Campbell getting away with his antics tonight if he was up against the Axe or a Lucas Neil or an Andy Todd.

It does.

I need an extra bottle of red to numb the pain and depression.

Yes. The new year message from Waggott was a bit weird. Felt like it was written to speak to Venkys, plead for more time. Mowbray has looked under pressure recently also.

What on earth was he doing bringing Buckley on at full back (at least I assume that's where he was meant be playing) even if Nyambe was injured did he learn nothing from Buckley's pitiful showing at Brentford as a full back.

I have no idea what system we were supposed to be playing after the subs and not for the first time in recent weeks the subs have confused us more than the opposition. It was always a worry that when Dack came back that he wouldn't know where to play him and we would just end up playing with no shape or system and that is exactly what has happened.

Holtby again was pathetic he was rightly dropped for poor performances yet as soon as Tyrbull wasn't fit to continue he was the first player he went to. Why not give Davenport a go, the poor lad scored at Brentford and since then has been given a grand total of 3 minutes of first team football.

Nice to see Gallagher on the score sheet, whoever would have guessed that he would be more effective playing through the middle of the pitch.

Yeah,Buckley he always changes the game....what are you on?  Nyambe injured is a better player than the £10m marvel.

Sorry, Buckley is supposed to be better attacking. I don’t rate him, I also don’t rate Nyambe as an attacker. I see the logic in the manager thinking his “intelligent ball playing midfielder” had more chance of creating us a goal.

As we saw, made no difference.

I just don’t see it. He’s not getting sacked by swag so that leaves resigning. He’ll get back home tonight, lick his wounds, have a kip then wake up and remember he’s the luckiest bloke in football.

Will clear a million a season salary, no fans in the ground for the rest of the season, a very passive apathetic fanbase, clueless disinterested owners, his mate is his boss and the a local rag laps up all his bullshit and excuses and never ask him any difficult questions.

There no other job this cushy in football and he knows it

Don't do it to yourself.

He's here for a while yet.

2 more years on his contract? He'll see that out, I have no doubts.

I’d expect Pool to recall Elliot when TM is sacked, which I’m fine with. Elliot was here to help us try an win promotion, that ship has sailed. I rather now see us develop our own lads.

I thought we played quite well tonight but overall it showed that there is only one problem. The back four. We have a shocking defence.

Lenihan blows hot and cold. Unfortunate that Williams is injured. Mowbray buys an injury-prone Ayala from (surprise, surprise) Middlesbrough. Terrible luck for the much improved Wharton who is out for a year. Mowbray brings in Douglas from Leeds on loan and he proves to be pretty useless. Time for Carter to step up.

We will never make progress until the defence is sorted and that is a task beyond TM. He has to walk.

Davenport rescues a point...never seen again. Dolan is always a handful when he comes on as he offers something different...he's getting five minutes here and there every so often.

Gally's being ruined by being played out of position (and he's no world beater in the centre, but he gets involved) just as Bennett was last year.

Terrible tactics, terrible substitutions, terrible man management.

His time is done. Almost four years is not a bad stint. But he's out of ideas now.

Buckley is garbage, but no point putting Nyambe in a wheelchair trying to keep him playing with a hammy. Which was always, always, always bound to happen.

1. Buckley should never play for us, he's not good enough in his preferred position of midfield.

2. To put him right back in such an important game at such an important time when he has shown he can't tackle, has no pace or strength, then Mowbray has made his position untenable.

A disgrace and should resign immediately.

If they'd have gone with a 3 the 2and goal would not have happened. Bell was woefully out of position and should have been tucked in round the back. The lad gets confused with 2 jobs, so should have been one of a three for the rest of the game.  Anything but Bucko

Davenport.  Can tackle and has the physicality.
