What's the deal with the recent change in pronunciation of Brereton?

Have we all been saying it wrong all these years?

He's getting ready for his Chile debut.

Mowbray must be pleased as punch playing this shower of a Brum side today. Napoleon would approve of Mogga, he'd mention something about preferring a lucky general to a good general.

They are an absolute shambles and there are no excuses if we don't comfortably win this. We should already be at least two or three to the good already.

Can see why they’ve only got 1 point from 6 games. They’re bloody awful.

Worst team we have played in a very long time. They'll still snatch a draw if we don't score another though.

Just to answer my own question, I think I've found the cause of the change.

Thanks, that's been bugging the crap out of me ever since he suddenly started saying it differently.

Hah as I typed this he pronounced it the old way again! Lucy is certainly still saying it the 'wrong' way too.

As I said, this ref hates Brereton for some reason.

Petulant kick out by the Birmingham player - stonewall yellow. Waved off.

Lactose intolerance?

Cos he dives and makes a meal of everything. Boy who cried wolf. That was a stonewall card
