Popular Post TheRoversReturn Posted January 2, 2021 Popular Post Posted January 2, 2021 That goal showed just how awful Mowbray's team selection has been this season. WHY is he playing Gally on the wing game after game when we have Dolan who can come on and give the opposition kittens?!? 11 Quote

AdamRochina Posted January 2, 2021 Posted January 2, 2021 oh wow, well Dolan has done more in 5 minutes then Gallagher has in the past 7 or so games!!!!!!! infuriating .. well done dack! glad hes back, him and travis being back is huge for us. this squad under a brighter better manager would be lethal 9 Quote

Popular Post Stuart Posted January 2, 2021 Popular Post Posted January 2, 2021 That goal could be huge for Rovers and Dack. Oh for a manager that could get the best out of these lads week-in week-out. 12 Quote
BlackburnEnd75 Posted January 2, 2021 Posted January 2, 2021 I genuinely belive that Dolan in what 10 mins has saved the 3 points here. Big impact. 5 Quote

Backroom Tom Posted January 2, 2021 Backroom Posted January 2, 2021 Glorious to see Dack back in the goals 1 Quote
matt83 Posted January 2, 2021 Posted January 2, 2021 In the grand scheme of things the 3 points makes no difference. Not in a relegation battle nor in a play off race. Just zeroing in on that 12th spot. Long live mediocrity. 2 Quote
Stuart Posted January 2, 2021 Posted January 2, 2021 So funny hearing Neil and Warren talk about Karanka’s job being at risk because of his record... 3 Quote

WacoRover Posted January 2, 2021 Posted January 2, 2021 How about this defending today? The biggest surprise I’ve had all season is today’s defense 1 Quote
Doogs Posted January 2, 2021 Posted January 2, 2021 Very pleasing to see Dack score. A tough 12 months for him. We ll done. Quote
TimmyJimmy Posted January 2, 2021 Posted January 2, 2021 Happy, happy, happy. The boys are back. Quote

The biggest surprise I’ve had all season is today’s defense Probably more the very good fortune that defence came up against a side without a goal for 345 minutes of football. That said I’m stunned that lot kept a clean sheet. On paper that’s still the worst back 4 I can recall. If anyone can think of a worse one I’ll happily stand corrected. Quote
Blue blood Posted January 2, 2021 Posted January 2, 2021 Papering over the cracks this win, but having said that I do like a good 2-0 wallpaper. Very fortunate we are playing such a poor team. Great to see Dack get a goal.after a very difficult year for him. 4 Quote
1864roverite Posted January 2, 2021 Posted January 2, 2021 Unexpected positives with both Dack and Travis as well as the score line and points. In the bag, rest up and move on. Play the whole reserve side in the cup. Quote
Backroom DE. Posted January 2, 2021 Backroom Posted January 2, 2021 You've got to say that Birmingham are looking at relegation after watching that. Failing to lay a glove on our makeshift defence points to major problems. They're as bad as Wycombe were when we smashed them, maybe worse, our team is just weaker now than it was then. Referee's performance was abysmal across the board. Should not be officiating at this or arguably any level. I rarely comment on referees but this one was really, really bad. Pleased for Dack and great play by Dolan to set him up. Gally will still be back on right wing next game though. I don't take much away from this other than thinking we're still set for mid-table and Birmingham will do well to avoid the drop. Relieved that Travis came through the match in one piece, seemingly, and that Dack is back in the goals. 4 Quote
simongarnerisgod Posted January 2, 2021 Posted January 2, 2021 well 3 points are more important the performance i suppose😬 Quote

imy9 Posted January 2, 2021 Posted January 2, 2021 I would start with Dolan and Elliott on the wings with Arma through the middle. Travis and Davenport should be given another go. 2 Quote

A cup run might well be the only exciting thing to look forward to in the second half of the season? 1 Quote
moerpho Posted January 2, 2021 Posted January 2, 2021 Why am I not feeling more elated after a win? One quick look at the table, a quick reassessment with my brain, out for a smoke and still....this was not good, Tony!!! "Big Club" were about as bad as was predicted but we should really have performed better today. Still....3 points so act like a russian and say "I CAN'T complain....really...I can't!" Quote
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted January 2, 2021 Moderation Lead Posted January 2, 2021 Dolan>Gallagher. Get him and Dack starting next time out please! 5 Quote
davulsukur Posted January 2, 2021 Posted January 2, 2021 Beyond laughable that the back 4 that started today kept our first clean sheet in about 6 years (that's how long it feels) 4 Quote
