He's injured.

Didn't know that.

Long term tho? All season?

He hasn't started a game this season surely,  after playing 40+ last year.

Hell of a drop off that, which usually results in a full on tantrum.

Superb hold up play by Dolan and such a sweet strike by Dack.

Really pleased for Travis and Davenport in midfield.

Douglas put in a great shift at right back.

Some really strange comments on here today, some saying what a load of crap and some like Philip with some praise, how fickle fans are and how they see games in a different perspective, however i still think Mr Mowbray needs a kick up the backside.

Should still be down at the training ground now and then and as captain in the changing room rallying them? No?

Is he not?

He's been injured since October with ankle ligament damage. A few weeks back I think Mowbray said around February for a return.

How is AA top scorer and also top for missed big chances?

If we get a big offer for him I'd let him go.

Really would love to see Vale and Butterworth come through.

Very good first half, and a poor second really. Played a few too many long balls in the second half imo.

Birmingham do look a poor side.

He gets into a lot of good goalscoring positions and scores well over half of them?

Not really. He has missed more chances than 11. Remember him missing 9 chances in one game.

Him being caught offside annoys me the most though.

Nice of them to 'help out' in the transfer market. Hopefully Mowbray can sign a defender that isn't shite/injured. It'll be a first if he does.

Ah but who's available from Middlesbrough

Are the 2 mutually exclusive? Cant we keep the top scorer in the league and bring through the kids as and when deemed the correct time?

Kipre would be likely I think

Sam gave us Doneil Henry so it would be reasonable to think he holds no grudge. I’d have thought we’d look at Nathaniel Phillips again

Dolan for me lost the ball after going past one too many.

Dack got lucky and hit it perfectly

It said top of the big chance missed category, which I took as meaning he was in a good position to score, not every miss he's made.

I'm not sure how you can disagree with him scoring over half of his "big chances".

He's joint top scorer of the league. I'd say our problems are in other areas of the pitch.

‘If we get a good fee for him, I’d sell’.

I’m glad anyone who makes posts like this isn’t running the show.

Why would we want to sell our best players, who score most of our goals, unless we absolutely have to?

That's crackers imo. The goal he scored today was one of many that Armstrong scored on his own really through his pace and finishing, despite a decent pass to set him up. Lose him and we are really struggling in my opinion.

I'd do everything to hold onto him till the summer.

Yeah, lets sell AA and replace him with two lads who've never proved themselves at any level of pro football and are both permanently injured.
