Personally I'd have rested Johnson too and given a few of the U23s a game, but I'm not a tactical genius like Mowbray so what do I know.

Didn’t even clock that. Yep, that’s an abysmal back four. Could we not have at least loaned Carter after this game?

Kaminskin has had an injury in some games now and has rested this week.

Would have preferred to see Pike and Davenport starting but otherwise OK.

tomlinson looked well above the level tbh,always did think he was a decent player,must have been his attitude thats held him back

Football teams need consistency. Kaminski should be in the team unless he is unfit. There’s a reason Friedel was our best ever keeper and it wasn’t just about his ability and professionalism.

U23s football is his level.  Or, when they get too old for that they end up at Chorley and teams like that.  So, that was Chorley Youth v Chorley Men really...if you get what I mean

Kaminski’s has had injuries. A rare game to rotate so need to make the most of it. I’m surprised Mowbray didn’t go further. Worried about Lenihan and Johnson starting. One of them goes down and we’re in even bigger trouble.

Pears was always going to be in goal - seems standard for most teams now to play reserve keepers in the Cups (at least until the later rounds).

Think people need to lay off the conspiracy theories for why pears is starting. He’s our back up keeper, it’s a cup game. If Tommy K played and got injured/suspended, Tony would get lynched on here.

Also if Pears is gonna come in at any point the lad needs some game time
