Has anyone got any idea what formation this is and who is playing where?
We've had a full pre season and half a season playing 433 yet we have absolutely no idea what is happening when the team news is announced.

4-2-3-1 acc to Sharpe. Elliott and Rothwell wide perhaps.

No excuses with that team now, think we’ll get a solid win and a clean sheet today

Yes, it's either 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3. Hope this helps.

Well you clearly have no idea how contracts work so if you think it's beneficial for a manager to plod in mid table as opposed to win promotion.

I understand contracts better than I know how to put you ignore it seems!!!

Plodding around in midtable does not seem to put the manager's position in question.

As I dont know what the maanger's KPIs are so I dont know if promotion is beneficial. His contract may say avoid relegation.

You though seem to know what is in Tony's contract so I bow to your obviously superior knowledge.

The problem is Total Football didn't win much.

Good to see our £12m strike force back on the bench🙄

Good to see Rothwell shoved wide left too, where he's proven time and again he's a world beater out there. 🙄

It has nothing to do with his current contract here. Its' the contracts he would get AFTER promotion. Here or elsewhere. So therefore , promotion would be beneficial for him and there is no logical reason why he wouldn't want to achieve that.

Sharpe's prediction:-

I reckon it will be

                          Kaminski

Nyambe.    Lenihan. Branthwaite. Douglas

            Travis.   Johnson.   Rothwell.

             Elliot .   Dack.   Armstrong

Pretty sure it will be... But we will see.

Liking the line up.

But no defenders on the bench. What minute is the first defender getting injured? I'll go 37th.

F**k, hopefully we aren't looking at earlier than that... It has seemed to happen early in games

Gally to come on at CB, thus starting a journey that leads him to eventually being recognised as on of the greatest defenders this country has ever produced. Tony takes all the credit in his book 'I Should Have Won The Champions League But The Players Let Me Down'

Must be watching a different game, not sure how Johnson would be in anyones best 11. I think he has been simply dreadful in Centre Midfield all season. He played better at Centre Half and that should tell you everything. Can’t get about the pitch, gets caught in possession constantly, and his passing is woeful.
Still think we will win this, just a bit of nitpicking.

In a good mood this afternoon then! Trybull costing us something like £2k p/w. Pears on low wages too and came at a fairly small fee. Douglas loan I don't know. Can definitely safely say that those three don't equate to £4m from the budget however.

Would not surprise me if we've paid a loan fee up front.  There are different ways of doing loan deals in terms of loan fee / wage ratio.  Much would depend on Norwich's short term needs.  There's more than one way to skin a cat!
