I just think he will tell you everything you want to hear and you will come away satisfied with it. He's done the same to numerous others, some on here and one or two i know personally. Not to be trusted at all is my opinion. I have spoken to some people who have meet Steve Waggott so I have some background into him and I know what to expect. Quote

So I can certainly see how he can send people away feeling positive about the club’s direction… however JW actually had a track record behind the bravado, this fella has overseen one shambles after another and no amount of good natured corporate waffle and bluster can hide that fact. You could be describing Boris here.... 1 Quote
duckson Posted July 17, 2022 Posted July 17, 2022 Anyone know if the 3rd kit is still to be released tomorrow? Back at the end of May it was stated July 18th but the date was provisional and could change depending on delivery. Quote
JWU-Andy Posted July 18, 2022 Posted July 18, 2022 (edited) yes, the third shirt will be on sale tomorrow. As an aside, reading through the past couple of pages on here some of the absolute dross around macron, kits, ordering quantities, dates, etc is quite embarrassing - people will defend it as speculation (or whatever) some of it is absolutely laughable 😂 Edited July 18, 2022 by JWU-Andy Quote
Backroom Tom Posted July 19, 2022 Backroom Posted July 19, 2022 Could have been an instant classic without that sponsor 1 Quote
alex l Posted July 19, 2022 Author Posted July 19, 2022 Like the away kit, too much of the detail for my liking. Last season's rose was beautifully embedded and more subtle, this is all over the place. 1 Quote
Feed the Yak Posted July 19, 2022 Posted July 19, 2022 I hate the sponsor and for that reason am not ordering the home and away kits but that 3rd kit is brilliant imo. Quote
only2garners Posted July 19, 2022 Posted July 19, 2022 Can I give some clarity regarding the supply of this season's shirts. Given the issues with supply of goods from China since the pandemic a first small batch were air freighted so that the club had some stock to sell early. The main stock was sent by sea. They have arrived in the UK and are currently having all the logos added and they should be back at Ewood on Friday, although that date could slip a day or two. 1 Quote

Mattyblue Posted July 19, 2022 Posted July 19, 2022 And red has very much been a part of many a home shirt too. Game of opinions, but an odd one that DC! Quote
Oldgregg86 Posted July 19, 2022 Posted July 19, 2022 Well I’d say they have managed to deliver three more crackers. fair play to macron six beauties imo 1 Quote
alex l Posted July 19, 2022 Author Posted July 19, 2022 Lots of credit going to Macron, but do they actually design the kits or is that Rovers? Given designs are in place around 12 months prior to release, doesn't that indicate Rovers actually design the shirt? Quote

Mattyblue Posted July 19, 2022 Posted July 19, 2022 Just shows the difference a manufacturer that actually gives a toss makes in comparison to the generic shite previous companies have provided… 2 Quote

Riverside under the drip Posted July 19, 2022 Posted July 19, 2022 I think Rovers twitter have it right. The 3rd shirt is marketed along with some jeans and it definitely suits them. Lovely shade of red (almost pink in places to my eyes). How much the XXL shirt suits W36" jeans is another matter... Quote
alex l Posted July 19, 2022 Author Posted July 19, 2022 Turns out not quite so much credit is due to Macron 1 Quote
