Claytons Left Boot Posted July 19, 2022 Posted July 19, 2022 Not quite sure on the home kit yet (I’m nearly there) but the second and third kits are mint, as is the training gear. Polos and t-shirts look superb. Credit where it’s due and all that. Quote

chaddyrovers Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 3 very good looking kits and I like them all. Buying the home one before the first home game as long as they have my size in 1 Quote
Upside Down Posted July 21, 2022 Posted July 21, 2022 They are nice enough. The home shirt would have been better if the halves were reversed. That sponsor has absolutely wrecked them for me though. It's an absolute pile of wank and as a result I will not be getting a shirt this year. 3 Quote
Backroom Mike E Posted July 21, 2022 Backroom Posted July 21, 2022 I really like all 3 shirts, HOWEVER I struggle to envisage actually wearing them. Might be able to justify the navy one as a golf top 😅 Quote
Upside Down Posted July 21, 2022 Posted July 21, 2022 If you play any sports where you're running around and the man gravy starts to flow then they are superb. Quote
neophox Posted July 23, 2022 Posted July 23, 2022 Dont like the vape sponsor on our shirt.... 1 Quote
neophox Posted July 23, 2022 Posted July 23, 2022 I will most likely buy the one with recoverite on instead. Quote

alex l Posted July 25, 2022 Author Posted July 25, 2022 https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-62256634 For those who criticised the club for 'only' getting an initial batch of shirts to sell, this is an interesting read. Supply chain issues mean some prem clubs still aren't selling kits, including fellow Macron team crystal palace Quote
Upside Down Posted July 25, 2022 Posted July 25, 2022 There are a lot of things that you can criticise Rovers for but global supply chain issues are not one of them. Quote

Supply chain issues mean some prem clubs still aren't selling kits, including fellow Macron team crystal palace These supply chain problems have been for nearly 2 years now and Rovers can only do what they can. I know from my own workplace and company that we are struggling massive to get stock from the far east. Quote
Nuttall is lost Posted July 25, 2022 Posted July 25, 2022 Thos lazy kids at the sweatshops getting away with murder! Why cant they get local grannies to knit the jerseys? Quote
martonrover Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 (edited) Last month, Rovers announced Totally Wicked as their principal sponsor on a one-year contract after the agreement with Recoverite Compression ended in January. Waggott said: “Given that the club had made the decision not to accept sponsorship from gambling or alcohol companies this represented a good deal.” Incredible, just incredible. You couldn’t make it up. What a t*t. Edited July 27, 2022 by martonrover 2 Quote

You couldn’t make it up. What a t*t. I agree on the no gambling companies for sponsorship. Fucking hate it. In fact it should be banned full stop from pitchside advertising etc.. They also look terrible on the shirt. A big dirty 888 for example. You never see beer companies sponsor now however. Always thought McEwans Lager looked fantastic as a sponsor. 3 Quote

I absolutely agree with the principle of no gambling or alcohol companies, but how can Waggott / the club not see that endorsing a company whose products are nicotine based is in the same bracket? The way Waggott sounds so pious about it makes it even worse. 5 Quote

rog of the rovers Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 (edited) This is delightful. Bolton Wanderers shirt celebrating 100 years since their first FA Cup victory. The 1923 FA Cup Final, or as its more commonly known, The White Horse Final. Having Macron as our supplier in our 150th Anniversary season will hopefully yield a similar anniversary shirt/kit. https://www.bwfc.co.uk/news/2022/october/wanderers-unveil-centenary-fa-cup-final-shirt/ Edited October 18, 2022 by rog of the rovers 3 Quote
