Bigdoggsteel Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 How can Mowbray watch training all week and decide Rothwell should paly there..ok ,he might score, but he is currently AWOL in a big way Quote
Backroom Tom Posted January 24, 2021 Backroom Posted January 24, 2021 Douglas is so lucky the forward hasn’t been able to control that Quote

Just not as a left winger / left forward. It’s classic Mowbray - throw players all over the show as long as they’re not in their natural position 1 Quote

Neil Warnock is loving it he’s tactically got his side spot on. Douglas being targeted now 1 Quote

jim mk2 Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 Mowbray has to realise that before we can play our "good football" we have to impose ourselves on teams. At the moment we're just chasing shadows 2 Quote

G Somerset Rover Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 (edited) None of the players look comfortable where they’re playing. Travis seems to be playing pretty much RM FFS. Such a sh*te half but I know none of us are surprised. I’d bloody love it for one of the Sky boys to say this is Rovers, we’re not the ‘excellent footballing side’ that Mowbray and the media tell us we are. But that ain’t gonna happen. simongarnerisgod Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 this formation really is`nt working, there is no other option for anyone other than to pass it square or back,it`s so slow a sunday league side could defend against it Quote
Angry_Pirate Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 I say this every week... but this is abysmal. Quote
RTM08 Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 "That's what Mowbray wants to do, get the full backs high up the pitch and in behind" But why? There's absolutely no point putting the fullbacks up and whipping balls in when Buckley and Armstrong are the only ones in the centre, especially against a team like Boro. Quote
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 Nyambe has been bloody awful last 2 games. 2 Quote
LDRover Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 Did someone's washing blow onto the pitch at around the time of the first substitution? 1 Quote
joey_big_nose Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 This is an unbelievably bad game. Actually feel sorry for the commentators. I do wonder the sense in 433 when we can't even get our foot on the ball. Game feels like it needs Holtby but I don't think he's on the bench? Quote
Backroom Tom Posted January 24, 2021 Backroom Posted January 24, 2021 Douglas lucky again this time that Kaminksi was alert to his flick on 1 Quote
SoldierMo Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 Chaddy? I think our football shelf life is over even before Dyche football Quote
Backroom Silas Posted January 24, 2021 Backroom Posted January 24, 2021 Have we had 1 completed pass in the final 3rd? 1 Quote
RTM08 Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 Just now, Tom said: Douglas lucky again this time that Kaminksi was alert to his flick on Kaminski is far too good for us, I can't imagine how it feels to have such a useless defence in front of him. Quote
Oldgregg86 Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 Sick of hearing about Tony’s possession based football. Last time the stats flashed up we had 28% Possession. We’ve hit more long balls to no one that I care to remember. Absolutely bored to death ...again 1 Quote
TugaysMarlboro Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 Why does he keep persisting with Rothwell in that front 3. Quote
CrouchingNunhiddenCucumber Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 1 shot, 0 on target The Mowbray way 1 Quote
