Clitheroe Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 Preston, especially in the first half, had fight in them. Rovers did not. They were up for it, dominated the game, earned the win. They could've easily had more. We got a lucky pen that counted for nothing. More than anything.. Just depressing. Quote

We didnt one clear cut chance second half. Preston deserved the win. Branthwaite looked really.poor today. Time for Harwood-Bellis to start. Apart from Armstrong and Douglas were decent. Rest was poor. Didnt understand taking Nyambe off to play Gallagher at right back then 10 minutes bring on Harwood-Bellis. Baffling was that. Branthwaite was very poor. Probably needs a rest. Nyambe was poor as well 2 Quote
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 (edited) Surely enough is enough, fire the dire uninspiring Mowbray and let's have some new fresh ideas in for the rest of the season...it's the only logical and sensible progression while there is still a glimmer of hope of making the top six. Paul Mani Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 Not good enough again. We don’t have any coherence as a team which is astounding considering Mowbrays been with us for 4yrs. Time for a change I think. No realistic chance of the top 6 now unless we do something that no Mowbray team ever has and that’s win consistently. 1 Quote

G Somerset Rover Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 Such a perfect time to replace Tony - makes so much sense to give a new guy the rest of the season to assess the squad. Too much sense for our owners though. 2 Quote

Don Said Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 No other words worth posting. The justification has been done previously. Don’t waste your time, akin to the waste of a squad going on down at Ewood. MOWBRAY OUT. 1 Quote

Exiled in Toronto Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 If he doesn’t get sacked this weekend he’s here till he alone decides not to be. Totally incoherent performance. 2 Quote

Given the amount of injuries we seem to pick up during games it makes Mowbrays comments on the indoor artificial pitch even more baffling. Train on the pitch, damage it, makes a good excuse for not playing the one touch football bollocks, we only do on occasions (when it dosent matter) 3 Quote
Displaced Rover Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 I'm putting that performance close to Spurs away in 2012. I guess at least we had a few shots on target tonight. The striking similarity is that it didn't get the bald nob head sacked and it won't get Mowbray sacked. 1 Quote

Aqualung Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 Root canal treatment anyone.? Rovers matchday threads are a difficult read but I'm now on board with a change of manager. Treading water with players who are much better than being played ad - hoc. No direction and worse, not being played in the right positions. Even a plank like me can see that. 1 Quote
