If I wanted results I’d play a normal formation, with our best players in their correct positions. This is more like when Souness lost the plot. Unfortunately no one is going to want to take Mowbray from us.

Nice of Gallagher to clear the ball for Barnsley before with a nice cushioned header back to their keeper when he had a chance to score.

As a side issue, how has Brereton gone from being one of the first names on the team sheet to being virtually unable to get a minute on the pitch?

Has he bulked back down again whilst being injured?
