Tyler Magloire sent to Scotland so we can have the privilege of playing other clubs' academy prospects?

I could understand if they were any good but the two recent loanees are nowhere near it

C'mon, they're clearly both bloody good.

The problem tonight was that Barnsley brought on 5 subs (to our 0) and completely changed their shape. They just flooded the final third and overran our back line. It took Tony 15 mins of watching that to make a change - one of which was the absolutely useless Evans. Not to mention it appears that Bennett didn't come out of the tunnel after half time - they had acres of space down their left.

Barnsley were absolutely awful but we were abysmal. I'm so gutted and Mowbray should take the blame for setting all wrong once again. Just the hype he gave to Buckley when he signed a new contract.. Just want to turn the attention to other things than his terrible management.

i think mowbray is a bit vain in his football philosophy, this vanity would be hurt badly by unhappy fans venting their ire and could tip him over the edge,it`s the only way he`s going and he`s extremely lucky that none of those can be there to voice our anger

Which football philosophy?

Let’s not forget our “run” in January was full of dreadful performances too. Haven’t played well for months.

This exactly.

Anyone care to remind us when we last played well for 90 minutes?

We have the highest goalscorer and the player with the most assists, yet we couldn't buy more than the odd, scrappy, scrambled win.

For me, it was harder to go backwards from the Deepdale performance than to go forwards and build on our good form. But go backwards into our shell we sure did, steadily and consistently backwards.....

Clueless.

Also we will still be a pretty attractive gig for many up and coming managers. An ok championship budget and a history of giving managers plenty of time. There will be plenty of takers....but will anyone actually dare show TM the door

It's an absolutely plumb job - half the managers in the Championship would fancy their chances of getting THIS squad up, never mind if they got £14m to spend on three strikers without having to sell anyone.

Fantastic training facilities, PL quality ground (might need a bit of a clean) and apparently the most patient owners in the world - if you're happy to fly to Pune a couple of times a year to kiss their feet.

Go find the guy doing the most with the least in L1 / L2 and let him loose at Brockhall.

Exactly.  Gave souness a few months to evaluate the squad and he shipped out all the deadwood in the summer and brought in winners

its pointless comparing what happened with souness, we had proper owners and directors etc. now we have venkys who havent a clue about football and less clue how to run a football club

TM has lost the dressing room judging by the temper tantrums shown by players getting subbed, and the lack of effort on the part of some of them.

How can they not?  It’s clear to everyone he’s run out of ideas months ago. How would you feel if you were playing the  left-right back striker position then subbed off because you weren’t doing what you we’re supposed to?

A lot of over reactions on here. Calm down the journey has only just begun.

I know you are joking but, unfortunately, many a true word spoken in jest. This is what it must be like in eternal hell.

They must be watching or at least have someone watching for them. They have forked out money this season when most other clubs are penny pinching.

Worrying thing is maybe this was the last roll off the dice and watch Kaminski, dack, arma and anyone else worth a few Bob being sold to the highest bidder in the summer.

God only knows what goes on behind the scenes at ewood

Who's going to put down good money for Dack at the moment ?

Did people notice we were late coming out at the start of the game, the ref apparently went looking for us. Barnsley commentary were suggesting maybe our players didn't fancy it. What followed suggested they were absolutely spot on. I wonder if a few players voiced opinions pre match? That's probably the most disjointed performance I can remember in some time. Either something happened or the players have just completely given up and have literally no idea what's expected of them, how they're supposed to be set up, who's playing where, basically fucking everything!
