Stuart Posted February 17, 2021 Posted February 17, 2021 Mowbray already lining up Nyambe as the scapegoat. It will soften the blow when he leaves for nothing. I absolutely despair of that man. He seems to become more and more belligerent with every game. Just as Bowyer did. Trouble is that we really need to get results. But while it’s on such an inconsistent basis we are building to nothing. Still what can we expect. There’s only so much you can do in 28 games. Quote

Hoochie Bloochie Mama Posted February 17, 2021 Posted February 17, 2021 Well, at least he's actually changed things around. And every player is in their correct position pretty much. Tony's a genius. Quote

If it works then great but I'm not holding my breath. Alot required from both Bennett and Douglas. Quote
Popular Post JHRover Posted February 17, 2021 Popular Post Posted February 17, 2021 Nyambe in, Mowbray out is my preference Game 29 of Mowbray's new journey and we're back to Elliott Bennett at RB. Never mind journey its groundhog day. 16 Quote

simongarnerisgod Posted February 17, 2021 Posted February 17, 2021 secure all the hatches fellow roverites, this is going to be a rough ride🥺🥺 Quote
rigger Posted February 17, 2021 Posted February 17, 2021 If Bennet is to play, that is about the best position for him. Also lets see if Douglas can provide the quality of supply that he was signed for. Quote
Gav Posted February 17, 2021 Posted February 17, 2021 I can see the glow of the Oakwell floodlights from my house. They're saying 1-2 Rovers. Come on. Quote
OldEwoodBlue Posted February 17, 2021 Posted February 17, 2021 Just looked at the teamsheet and thought I saw Bennett instead of Elliott. Laughing until I almost die emoji. I expect the usual back 4 and Benno right mid rather than the proposed formation above. Tony isn't into formations. This is going to be a joke. Quote
Fraserkirky Posted February 17, 2021 Posted February 17, 2021 (edited) Surely even Rothwell or Buckley would be better at RWB than Bennett Edited February 17, 2021 by Fraserkirky Quote

davulsukur Posted February 17, 2021 Posted February 17, 2021 If nothing else, this has added some interest in watching it rather than expecting the same old fiasco. 1 Quote
BigBar Posted February 17, 2021 Posted February 17, 2021 Calling it now, Bennett will be poor, slow, ponderous, off the pace, robbed of possession, poor passing, be amazed if he had a decent game. This should not turn into a battle of opinions weather he is a good guy, great around the place etc. He is not good enough in any position, his presence isn't special enough to warrant a start. Win,lose or draw tonight that is not the right team selection. 1 Quote
jim mk2 Posted February 17, 2021 Posted February 17, 2021 Gallagher finished at right back in the PNE match. What did he do wrong? Quote
Backroom Tom Posted February 17, 2021 Backroom Posted February 17, 2021 Nailed on win now I feel, always happens when there’s almost unanimous annoyance with the selection 5 Quote

Caddis and Williams I think were the full backs. We lost to Southend Quote
