He’s rambling here, no train of thought and going from sound byte to sound byte in his interview.

I think it’s best that he walks, we all leave the good memories alone and move on

A comfortable win for Reading who never had to get out of second gear. Completely devoid of any ideas in attack and just reliant on a bit of individual quality from someone, Keith Andrews on co-commentary had us sussed very quickly as well.

Kaminski is looking very frenetic of late a far cry from the calm and composed keeper he was earlier in the season.

The defence I thought was solid tonight with the exception of Lenihan who was a bit rash at times Harwood-Bellis certainly looked an improvement on Branthwaite as did Bell compared to Douglas.

The midfield was far to pedestrian and easy to play against. Evans did a job out of possession but he offers nothing progressive on the ball just side ways and backwards. Trybull at times was almost playing deeper than Kaminski and his range of passing makes Evans' look like Tugay's. No forward passes and nothing more than 5 yards. I'm at a loss as to what type of midfielder he is because he he can't pass and he doesn't seem to enjoy getting his foot in. Rothwell one of the few attacking players who offered anything but because of the lack of forward passing from Evans and Trybull had to come far to deep to receive the ball.

The front 3 didn't offer enough, Brereton was about the best of the 3. Dack whilst he didn't play great was at least getting into some better positions.

Don't think the quality of the squad is what people make out.

Pears crap

Bell/Douglas crap.

Bennett. 'nuff said.

2 teenage CB.

Ayala always injured.

Lennihan hit and miss.

Trybul/Evans/Johnson have one good game in 10 -if that.

Downing.  Needs to retire.

Travis/Dack not fit and out of form.

Buckley not good enough.

Rothwell disappears in games.

Gallagher. Offers nothing

Brereton. Better than Gallagher.  Probably the only one improving slightly.

🤷🏻‍♂️

I always think players tend to look worse when there’s an absolute nob in charge.

He’s assembled a disjointed squad with 121 midfielders, 1 fit defender who is on loan and spent a lot of money on two nothing players. What went wrong?

The only slight positive in the next run of games is all those teams will attack us apart from possibly Millwall. We only look threatening on the counter and teams like Reading know that. Of course with that comes the issue that we'd need to defend to a decent standard too 😕

Mowbray says we dominated the game.

He says it doesnt affect him if we lose

He believes in 5 years we will have the recruitment sorted and we will be deserving of going up then

Oh, and the Sky interviewer is his mate and backing him on screen....

Talking of going is Mowbray.....pressure is building...ramblings of a mad man.

Load of shit

Sorry, you don't think Armstrong has the pace to consistently get in behind?

When was the last time he did?

Why do you think teams can pressure us so high up the pitch at will (see Elliott calamity)? Cos they're not worried about Armstrong beating them over the top. Or Brereton or Elliott for that matter - we have no devastating pace.

Why do you think teams are happy to drop off and let us pass the ball around in front of them? Cos they're not worried about Armstrong beating anyone in the air.

Sick to death of watching the same turgid shite every game.

Nothing changes. I bet I could close my eyes & know exactly where the ball is when we have it. Yet this muppet seems to think that all of a sudden it'll produce different results! It's shite, shite to watch & doesn't work.

Just fecking do one!!

That lad is quality, he'll go on to bigger and better things.

Did you watch on the radio?

Absolute shit yet again. Absolutely no threat offered whatsoever.

Literally nothing came off for Elliott, very poor. Rothwell invisible as always. Brereton our only threat but a timid one. Armstrong made some clever runs playing in a different postcode to his teammates and got more and more frustrated as time went on. Dack is too deep and looks rusty. Dolan a bright spark with zero end product.

There was no need for Evans and Trybull, the former is as limited as a player can be, the latter rubbish. Bell is as bad technically as you can wish to see, constant poor passes and Douglas put the only good ball in all game in his 6 minutes compared to Bells 84. Lenihan and Nyambe were good, Harwood Bellis ok too. Kaminski has an erratic side.

Mowbray out.

No sense in rushing. Make it ten years instead and make it a really worthwhile journey

That interview was infuriating.

Unprofessional to say it doesn’t affect him, and also to say we are in a world where people expect instant results. The players will be aware of his lack of care towards the club.

Absolutely Elliot's fault and it boils my piss when middling ex-pros say "that's why he's on loan at a club like Blackburn, to learn from those mistakes".

We've fallen so far it's heartbreaking. It was a schoolboy error from a player that hasn't earned his shirt in 2021. If he was a Rovers academy product, rather than a Fulham one, he'd be in the U23s right now.

Or on loan at Shrewsbury.

We don't see any leadership on the field. The side is completely devoid of character and it is like the players are surprised (and somewhat disturbed) when the ball comes to them, except perhaps young Dolan, who still has a hint of initiative about him.

But we don't see cohesion, we don't see communication, we don't see passion, we don't see much in the way of team-work. We just see a relentless adherence to Tony's weird plan - and we all know now for sure that TM is at least one cone short of a training session.

We will be lucky to avoid relegation and as it stands we may be in a situation where we need other teams to be even more inept than our own to stave off the realistic proposition that it might happen.

Un-fooking believable.

Just now, Ewood Ace said:

He's a good goalkeeper but the last few games he has been looked very frenetic and not the composed keeper and calming influence that he was earlier in the season.

Plenty to have a go at, the keeper isn't one of them.
