matt83 Posted March 4, 2021 Posted March 4, 2021 I highly doubt it. Improvement just isn’t a thing that happens under the Venkys. 2 Quote
Mr. E Posted March 4, 2021 Posted March 4, 2021 A good fitness coach is an integral part to preventing injuries, I do believe? We desperately need improvement in that area. 1 Quote
chaddyrovers Posted March 4, 2021 Posted March 4, 2021 Let's hope Jack Dowling is good appointment Quote
bazza Posted March 4, 2021 Posted March 4, 2021 Come from Everton. I wonder if Branthwaite saw what was taking place and complained to TM that it wasn't good enough and not what they do at Everton. Quote
RevidgeBlue Posted March 4, 2021 Posted March 4, 2021 Never heard of Chris Rush but where is he going, is he joining another Club or getting another job outside football? Quote

alcd Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 Finding out why there's an epidemic of hamstring injuries at this club and worse than anywhere else should be the first item on his agenda. 1 Quote
jim mk2 Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 Chris Rush: “Although I will leave the club at the start of March I am very positive about the direction the club is taking. Under Tony Mowbray, the club has been transformed since relegation to League One in 2017. The performance environment he has built can only contribute to any future success." AllRoverAsia Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 Chris Rush just another fall guy to one persons ego. Quote

tomphil Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 The fitness of the team has been amazing at times this season especially compared to previous ones. Yes still many similar niggling injuries but is the improvement in match fitness down to something or someone new ? Or is it just younger hungrier team with more desire ? Or has TM shook up the training methods after getting himself on stronger tea bags. I posed a question a few times in the past what the highly rated Chris Rush brought to the team seeing as we had poor overall fitness compared to a lot of others. Coincidence ? 1 Quote

A younger squad has led to better fitter but I feel that Rovers have worked harder on fitness this season then previous in my opinion. It will be interesting who replace him 1 Quote

Obviously it's now full of more willing runners and workers than before so that plays a big part. I presume to training sessions are often quite intense so picking up niggles is probably collateral damage. Just got to hope they keep trying to sign robust young players. Snowflake Rovers is a thing of the past. Quote
