WacoRover Posted March 11, 2021 Posted March 11, 2021 Rovers gave me a win on my 59th birthday Vs Lions, and a point vs high-flying Swans, mid-week. This ol’ Texan will take a stab at predicting the 11... Same as the last two outings. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! Arte et Labore, c’mon, you Blues! 2-1. 4 Quote

Guest Posted March 11, 2021 Posted March 11, 2021 Adam Armstrong to miss out again Lewis Holtby may get a place on the bench McBride & Pike expected in London with the 23's who'll play at the same time as the 1st team in the PL2 vs Arsenal Tired legs referenced - could see Nyambe replace JRC Harvey Elliott hint dropped about a return to Starting XI Quote
@roverseas Posted March 11, 2021 Posted March 11, 2021 All eyes of this one as Rovers will hope to spring a bigger surprise against another high flyer. Brentfords form away from is a bit poop, hoping we can stretch to at least a point here. Expect goals! Keep the faith and back the boys! Quote
Fraserkirky Posted March 11, 2021 Posted March 11, 2021 Kammy Nyambe THB Lenihan Douglas Travis Trybull Rothwell Elliott Dolan Brereton Predicting a few changes Quote
tomphil Posted March 11, 2021 Posted March 11, 2021 Rovers 2 Bees 2 We'll score first then end up 1-2 behind before a Raya clanger gives us a point for that big half empty bag. 1 Quote
matt83 Posted March 11, 2021 Posted March 11, 2021 5 points from 27. Suppose 4 of them from the last 6 available so technically this is the crest of a Mowbray wave. 14 points off the play offs 12 points off relegation sums up the extent of my interest in this. More Mowbray mid-table mediocrity. 5 Quote
ben_the_beast Posted March 11, 2021 Posted March 11, 2021 How is it fair this game is on a Friday? We only played Tuesday. Surely it should be a normal Saturday kick off with that considered. To make matters worse Brentford have had 10 days off. 2 Quote

Yeah, that might be the reason for lack of posts on this thread, nobody realizes we play tomorrow... or a poor effort from your thread starter! 🤨 Quote

It will be an excuse used by the performance-related one though I'm sure. 4 Quote
Paul Mani Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 Kammy Nyambe Lenihan THB Douglas Buckley Trybull Dack BB Dolan. Elliott Tried to keep it the same as we’re playing well. JRC interview proven that he needs looking after and I’d rest SG too. Other than that, play and look to freshen up the midfield and Douglas during the game. Plenty of options if people tire. Quote

1864roverite Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 0-2 Brentford outclass us Mowbray reverts to type, we are behind Brentford in terms of where we want to be. It was close, we didn’t get hammered, we put it in the bag and move on. Yes football is about winning but we are better for the experience the young lads out there performed brilliantly against an experienced champions team!🤬🤬 Quote

HowieFive0 Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 At least if we re on Sky game SHOULD go ahead ..pitch going to get a right hammering weather wise today ! Quote
matt83 Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 If anyone hasn’t read the LET my suggestion is don’t. Tony will have needed a box of tissues after dreaming about Brentford. 2 Quote

Winds me up. Anyway, on to the game, I have a funny feeling we'll win this one - provided Mowbray doesn't decide to tinker too much - and we'll all be thinking about what could've been. Meanwhile, all it succeeds in doing is prolonging Tony's stay. I'll go for a 2-1, Dolan & Dack on the scoresheet for us, Ivan Toney for them obviously. Quote

CrouchingNunhiddenCucumber Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 I'm nearly as baffled as Mowbray will be on which way this one will go. Would've said its a nailed on loss up until the last two but now who knows... who cares?! 2-2, Mowbray to talk about Brentford like their fucking Barcelona afterwards and how we're trying to replicate their journey but it'll take another decade 1 Quote
