Gav Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 You can tell these lot have had some down time, much sharper all over the park. We look like we're running through treacle. Quote

Aqualung Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 Can't view I'm afraid... Sounds awful. Is it actually that bad? Quote

Let alone had a sniff at goal. Horrendous all over the park. If they go up a gear they’ll be out of sight by HT. 1 Quote
JohnD Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 They're so much better than us 😂 n every department it's embarrassing. How many extra players do they have? Quote
Backroom Tom Posted March 12, 2021 Backroom Posted March 12, 2021 Still not convinced by Douglas. Well I am, I’m convinced he’s not very good. 8 Quote
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 This has been piss poor fare. Brentford going to win this comfortably. Quote

The cynic in me would suggest that it's not so much regression and more that Brentford are just playing a lot better than our last two opponents. Edited March 12, 2021 by DE. 3 Quote
TheRoversReturn Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 Away commentators much better analysts on our team than the home commentators. They're picking apart some of the ridiculous tactics, including pinging balls forward to little Tyrhys in the middle while 6'4" Gally is out wide on the touchline. Pretty damning stuff, it's obviously plain to see to all not swallowing the injuries/journey/possession/not a good-enough-squad bs that the likes of Kevin Nolan have swallowed lock, stock and barrel so as to play down expectations and take the pressure off our Tone. 1 Quote
danger19_80 Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 Their left back looks the weak link. Need to get at him more. 1 Quote

He was extremely lucky with the misplaced pass he made which hit the ref. Ref gave him the ball back, Douglas took a quick one and nearly hit him again! Quote
Exiled_Rover Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 Buckley gets cleaned out - they get the free kick. This ref might as well put on one of those drab grey shirts. 5 Quote
Stuart Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 We aren’t just five years behind Brentford in recruitment, we are inferior on the pitch as well. Billionaire owners Venkys must surely be wondering why/how. Quite embarrassing to think that ten years ago we were a PL club and Brentford were barely out of the fourth division. Now that’s progress. Meanwhile £200m later, here we are. 1 Quote
BigBar Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 Any talk of keeping Douglas for next season should be a punishable offence! Quote
Tormund Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 We’ve been poor but Brentford don’t look that special, only threat they’ve had was the attack for the penalty. Quote

No idea how that was a foul against Buckley, he clearly won the ball first and the other guy got absolutely no where near it. Terrible decision 2 Quote
