If anyone fancies something transfer related that might cheer you up (as opposed for the “how quick to worst case scenario” chat);

1 year on from signing someone I’d never heard of, for a nominal fee. Proven to be some of the best business the clubs done in years.

(Cue - “he’ll be going on a free then “)

Not quite as good as Raya but has proved a solid enough signing.

If we're that desperate we're having to rely on  past signings to cheer us up then what about that lad Shearer we signed in 1992 as well?

He wasn't half bad.

But lets face it, nobody sells fixed assets like training grounds unless the owners say so, the buck stops with them.

And who do you think sowed the seeds!?!?

So we'd be better off with Mowbray than Wilder then?

Aye - all right!

Nobody said that, have you started early tonight Simon?

Just for the record, I’d take Wilder tomorrow.

Quite right too.

Any CEO worth his salt would look at every avenue to raise funds when the clubs haemorrhaging money at the rate we are.

Its not difficult this stuff chaps.

That is the problem. He isn't worth his salt.

I think our biggest strength is this amazing European scouting network we have!!

And the 'workaholic' head of recruitment

Neither is answering the phone to potential sponsors and commercial partners but he finds that more difficult than trying to railroad planning permission through?

Come on Gav, the guy is a proper shithouse and completely on the take.

Every position could be strengthened, but what is critical is getting a new striker. A lot of hyperbole gets thrown around on this forum but having a stikeforce of Gallagher and Brereton plus a kid - McBride - whose played a few minutes of senior English football is scientifically and definitely the worst forward line since records began.

Also we need a right and a left full back as we are an injury to Pickering or further injury to Nyambe away from really struggling.

After that we have a bit of breathing room.

Yep, suppose it was Venky's fault the Trio tried to flog off the Training ground at Coventry as well. Again with detailed plans of a proposed housing development and no details whatsoever of any alleged new facility or even a potential site on which to house it!

More to the point here - who do we think stopped the development?

Following in the footsteps of Shaw, Singh and Barry Chuckle LD.

The owners are as thick as pig shit, fill yer boots, it’s been the same for 10yrs.

Bad advice?

Imagine comparing a transfer who was a very good replacement for someone who wanted to leave, in the last 3 years, to a good transfer in 1992….

Im not sure how to respond without utter disbelief tbf

How do we know he wanted to leave other than ToMo said so (serious  question, I may have missed direct quotes)

Both sides engineered that one to suit their agenda after a clear falling out would be my take on it.

Who struck the first blow ?   Watch out for that bus.

A left back yes but a right back won't be in the manager's thoughts.Rankin Costello will alternate with Nyambe, I wouldn't do that but Mowbray will. And if Carter isn't sent on loan then he will come in if those two ain't available or Costello is moved further up the field

Without googling interviews the basic thing I remember was being benched for Leutwiler, Spanish coach at Brentford, more chance of promotion.

Sickening really but this is one of the scenarios where (I agree with @Exiled_Rover) that we ended up with a better player for a fraction of the fee we received.

Been mentioned on FB that a striker is flying over tomorrow. Doubt it considering it’s FB but on the off chance wondering if anyone has heard anything?

Do you have a screenshot?
