Can’t help but think this signing is geared towards us playing wing backs this season. Maybe Pickering and Nymabe would be the fullback in a back 4 and edun and JRC the wing backs in a back 3?

Very good reviews on Twitter, with a considerable mention for his ability to central midfield. Happy to see a perm singing but an odd place to see it considering the Pickering fee.

With Van Hecke and Edun it could suggest that a switch to wing backs could become plan A. Positive to that would hopefully mean that's where the width would come from and our 6ft wingers would play more central. There is maybe too much logic in that for it to come to pass though.

We actually have cover in the striker department (Gallagher, Brereton, Burns, McBride, Chapman, Dolan). Our cover at left back is threadbare, (Pickering, Cirino).
