Ewood Ace Posted April 2, 2021 Posted April 2, 2021 Good to see Tony looking to the future again and bringing Downing on. 5 Quote
WacoRover Posted April 2, 2021 Posted April 2, 2021 I don’t see these subs as being the answer; maybe Dolan will play with some fire. Quote

Exiled_Rover Posted April 2, 2021 Posted April 2, 2021 Oh bloody hell, Downing. If he's the answer you're asking the wrong questions. 2 Quote
Roversider Posted April 2, 2021 Posted April 2, 2021 I don't know why everyone is so negative, we have had 64% possession - isn't that how the result is decided on ........... Oh, it's something to do with scoring more goals than the opposition is it? 4 Quote
Bigdoggsteel Posted April 2, 2021 Posted April 2, 2021 I would say that's surely it if we lose this, but it's not though ,is it? Quote

Bigdoggsteel Posted April 2, 2021 Posted April 2, 2021 Get that amateur charlatan out. He is now undoing any good he did with this run and collapse Quote

yellowsubmarine Posted April 2, 2021 Posted April 2, 2021 WHY WHY WHY is Gallagher still on the wingS!!! Quote

Rothwell just made a daft flick on the edge of the box but he’s not a Mowbray favourite so he’s currently getting a rinsing. Yet if Brereton had done that they’d have been singing his praises - “you could see what he was trying to do”. Brereton isn't a Mowbray favourite - he's often the first guy subbed. Quote
Roversider Posted April 2, 2021 Posted April 2, 2021 Do you think Gareth Ainsworth would swap spots with Mowbray? Much cooler guy and a Rovers fan. 1 Quote

bluebruce Posted April 2, 2021 Posted April 2, 2021 12 minutes ago, Stuart said: Sorry bud. Yep, we are just that bad. Rotation worked in L1 because our squad was just that much better than everyone else. This division needs players to get into a rhythm and generate momentum. (Ideally a winning momentum rather than a death spiral one of course). Aye we over-rotate for sure. But I was more getting at, the fact we do rotate so much should reduce the frequency of injuries we are getting. But even with the excessive rotation, somebody seems to get injured every game. Aside from whatever is happening in training, I also blame the way Mowbray doesn't wait for players to properly recover and thrusts them in too early, even when we have reasonable alternatives. The main reason for rotation should be to manage fitness, but Tony will run someone into the ground, his rotation primarily happens due to thinking he has to tailor the whole team to the opposition we face. So it ends up not really helping prevent injuries. Quote
