Proudtobeblue&white Posted April 19, 2021 Posted April 19, 2021 As it's part of my Sky package, I'll have it on, as my son will want to watch. Meaningless drivel expected. Quote
bazza Posted April 19, 2021 Posted April 19, 2021 I'd like Adam Reach to come to Rovers when Wednesday are relegated. Might lose this game to a Reach goal. 1 Quote
Roversider Posted April 19, 2021 Posted April 19, 2021 Still want a Rovers win and hopefully an entertaining game. Always good when two of the three relegated clubs come from Yorkshire, shame we can't swap Wycombe and Birmingham. COYB 2 Quote
tomphil Posted April 19, 2021 Posted April 19, 2021 Easy win for pressure free Tony and his boys there seems a bit more life about him again now with the end in sight. Like a tired old hound who knows it's owner is coming up the path. Weds 1 Rovers 3 1 Quote
Hoochie Bloochie Mama Posted April 19, 2021 Posted April 19, 2021 Tony Mowbray makes Barry Bannan admission ahead of Blackburn Rovers trip to Sheffield Wednesday - YorkshireLive (examinerlive.co.uk) “I would like for us to try and grab a foot of the game, put our foot on the ball, pick the right passes and play in the spaces between their shape. But I understand the threat of their shape" Uncle Knobhead's Tactics Truck. 3 Quote

JPTSwindon Posted April 19, 2021 Posted April 19, 2021 Red button time... Mind you ifollow I find better quality, but I guess I need some value out of my Sky package! Sheffield Wednesday need a result, so no easy 3 points here. I’d give starts to Dolan and Buckley, might as well build up game time for next season. Quote

I still love wins. Mowbray is no master motivator, but he needs to light a fire under the lads. Also, play Elliott & Arma on wings, Gallagher in the middle. Quote
Blue blood Posted April 20, 2021 Posted April 20, 2021 Another win to show TM is a managerial genius. Wednesday are poor and don't have their manager there. We have no pressure, they need wins. All set for a win that proves TM is the right man for the job and that that 15 game stint was just a minor blip where we were unlucky. Expect rotation, expect excuses regardless of the result. Now we are not going to get relegated my interest is at an all time low for these games under the odious one mk 2. 2 Quote
tomphil Posted April 20, 2021 Posted April 20, 2021 He needs an Indian foot up his own arse, about once a week next season if he's still here. The most complacent manager in our history. 1 Quote
1864roverite Posted April 20, 2021 Posted April 20, 2021 Might or might not watch, I am simply bored with tombola tony and is mowbrayisms! 1-0 Wednesday Quote
davulsukur Posted April 20, 2021 Posted April 20, 2021 I'll end up watching it. Score draw i reckon. 2-2. We'll concede first, pull it back to 1-1, go in front and then let in the softest goal ever for 2-2. Quote
windymiller7 Posted April 20, 2021 Posted April 20, 2021 Don't forget the slightly earlier KO time guys - I'd hate for anyone to miss the first half, it's always so exciting! 😅 3 Quote

@roverseas Posted April 20, 2021 Posted April 20, 2021 Hopefully we can all play and support without fear now and I hope that will be on display tonight. This match usually has goals in it, so lets hope we can repeat last years banger! 1 Quote
Bigdoggsteel Posted April 20, 2021 Posted April 20, 2021 I'm struggling to find reasons to watch. Mowbrays recent comments about him being here next season are a slap in the face. It's a grotesque idea. Meh 3-2 to either team,or maybe 2-2. Honestly, who cares? Half this team are leaving anyway 1 Quote
Riversider28 Posted April 20, 2021 Posted April 20, 2021 After the euphoria after the win against Derby, I expect us to come back down to earth with a bump and a 2-1 loss. Our former hero to slot in the winner in so called injury time. Quote
AllRoverAsia Posted April 20, 2021 Posted April 20, 2021 We are safe. I hope we lose every remaining game. I hate the turd Mowbray more than I can say. More than Kean. And not a swear word used so you know I mean it. 3 Quote
Riverside under the drip Posted April 20, 2021 Posted April 20, 2021 It's been said many times before but, for the first time ever, I genuinely mean this. I did not know we had a game today until now. 1 Quote
Dolly blue Posted April 20, 2021 Posted April 20, 2021 Not interested in the line up or the outcome. 3 weeks ago I said that was me out until he and his embarrassing back room go....have Sky, won’t be watching....it’s less painful and I’m getting used to life without Rovers in it . Not had any call, communication from the club re season ticket renewal...that’s really annoying me because I have a script.....until that day dawns when he’s gone...that’s how it will continue to be.... I did not know we had a game today until now. Me too. Seems to happen a lot recently. I missed a Friday night game last month(can’t even remember who we played) as I’d forgotten we weren’t playing on the Saturday. I used to get excited for every match, even when nothing was at stake.
