Miker Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 Sheff Utd have scored 3 minutes in. This league is about to get very very interesting! Our next 3 win games are winnable… we could find ourselves top of the league by the start of 2022. 2 Quote

Obviously doesn't apply to anyone in your position who was obligated to miss it having unfortunately tested positive. Quote

Fair enough although before my positive test I had already decided not to go. 1 Quote
chaddyrovers Posted December 20, 2021 Author Posted December 20, 2021 Sheffield United have been excellent so far. Heckingbottom has gone back to 3 at the back and it suits the squad there Quote
Rochdale_rover Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 (edited) 21 years ago this was the table at the half way point. Can history repeat itself. Fulham top , the baggies just below us. 42 points . Edited December 20, 2021 by Rochdale_rover Quote

No I’m aware of that more the fact that within a 21 year period they have managed to start a new club and return to a division just below where they were. Great story really. Quote
RevidgeBlue Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 Every result that falls in our favour makes it all the more imperative we don't lose anyone in Jan and indeed add a couple if at all possible. Hope we can keep it up. Vaguely remember a season under Bob Saxton when we went top at some point over the Christmas period then barely won another game. Quote

Dan Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 Difficult not to get carried away and start to think what if… The contracts/January sale thing and the worry of Tony’s Tombola getting dusted off is (just about)keeping my feet on the ground at the minute. Who’d have thought we’d be anywhere near this position when we sold Armstrong! It’s a nice feeling to be looking forward to the football again with a positive vibe. 3 Quote
Displaced Rover Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 It’s genuinely surreal at the moment. Although I’ve had the hope beaten out of me to the extent I can’t help but assume the death spiral is on the way, except this one will hurt much more ha ha 1 Quote
1864roverite Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 One game at a time, after tonight Fulham really don’t look that formidable and Rovers do owe them big time in The return game. Quote

Officer Barbrady Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 As a fat fuck I can't handle all this pressure lol. But seriously Sunday can turn out to be such a good day. Let's get it done Rovers. 1 Quote
TruRover Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 I was at the Fulham Sheffield game tonight. Sheffield didn’t offer anything offensively but put in the best defensive performance I’ve seen for a long time. There definitely a team to watch although I do feel heckingbottom will stumble at some point. 1 Quote
