G Somerset Rover Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 Sheff Utd winning means at least it’s all over (albeit not mathematically) and we can move on. 2 Quote

roverandout Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 Rovers pretty much need a miracle now. We have to beat Preston away then Bournemouth at home. Can't see either being possible Quote
Backroom Tom Posted April 23, 2022 Backroom Posted April 23, 2022 At the point now where we need to win all 3 with Sheff United not picking up any points 2 Quote
simongarnerisgod Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 now it`s all over can we confirm moggadon will be gone at the end of birmingham game 2 Quote

Popular Post jim mk2 Posted April 23, 2022 Popular Post Posted April 23, 2022 Mission accomplished, another 12 months out of the spotlight under no pressure. A great day for Tony and the Ewood hierarchy in their safe, well-paid sinecures 12 Quote

SuperBrfc Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 Mowbray can breathe a sigh of relief. He was almost in danger of getting us promoted. Top man, Tony. He's saved the club and done a great job. 1 Quote
simongarnerisgod Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 if he mentions the journey at all this week i think i might go down to brockhall and confront the ****😉 1 Quote

tomphil Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 The age of the squad is a legit thing to mention but they aren't a bunch of novices, many have lots of games despite being young. Refs have been bad for us yes but they know we are ill disciplined and the manager started calling them out early in the season. So, looking at Luton etc just about every myth Mowbray has peddled this season has been exposed - again. 1 Quote

Our average squad age the last match was something like 0.7 years younger than the championship average. No excuse. Quote

Gamst Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 I’m more angry about the inaction from the owners/board than our rather predictable collapse. We should have acted 4 or 5 games ago when we still had a decent shout of making the play offs. They predictably slept at the wheel instead. Just like they did in January when we should have used our position to strengthen or at least brought in a striker. Maybe they don’t care or have no idea about our predicament?? Either way, we’ve blown an excellent opportunity. I suppose when the chairman is your friend who you got the job for, your job ends up being pretty secure. Laughable situation. 2 Quote

Point is that the owners do have to take some blame as that is not a sufficient budget considering where we were and the money received earlier in the season. Quote

Usually I’d tend to agree but there have been times , noticeably more against Blackpool at home, that the players literally didn’t look like they knew where they should be, it wasn’t lack of effort but complete confusion. That lays at one man’s door. Quote
Nuttall is lost Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 All over now. Sheffield losing todya was our only hope. What a fucking collpase. Mowbray the idiot. We were almost unpregnable. 2 Quote

Shit window, no ambition. Quote
