RevidgeBlue Posted December 27, 2021 Posted December 27, 2021 Great result. Just need QPR to oblige now. 1 Quote
oozy Posted December 27, 2021 Posted December 27, 2021 Things are really falling into place for us. Still, no room for complacency as 23rd can absolutely beat 3rd in this division. Bottom (although they'd be mid-table without deductions) just beat 4th. Quote
TimmyJimmy Posted December 27, 2021 Posted December 27, 2021 How on earth did Deby win, absolutely dire, worst team I've seen this season, and yet WBA fail to win. Good omens 🙂 Quote
A Northern Horde... Posted December 27, 2021 Posted December 27, 2021 Great result but means nothing if we cant beat the Tykes! Quote
USABlue Posted December 27, 2021 Posted December 27, 2021 CKR once a Rover...., what a gifted goal that was a draw later and it's been a good day. 2 Quote
TruRover Posted December 27, 2021 Posted December 27, 2021 Personally I would rather a qpr win - I don’t expect them to be up there come end of the season Quote

Good omens 🙂 Think that's a bit harsh. They chased and harried never giving WBA the opportunity to settle. All credit to the Rams. Great result for them and - more importantly - Rovers!! Quote

Defensively solid and living off set-pieces seems to be his mantra. West Brom fans are expecting to be in the top two at a canter. They create loads of chances every game, if they had a goalscorer they would be in top spot now Quote
BRFC4EVA Posted December 27, 2021 Posted December 27, 2021 Draw would be the best result for us here surely? Quote
bazza Posted December 27, 2021 Posted December 27, 2021 Bournemouth win 1-0. Goal by Solanke. 4 points clear of us as it stands. Quote

Their current style doesn't suit their players like Diangana, Robinson or Grant. Plus they don;t create much from open play. Edited December 27, 2021 by chaddyrovers Quote
superniko Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 Whisper it quietly….but we could be top of the table on the 2nd Jan with Fulham and Bournemouth not playing until the 3rd. Quote

Bournemouth have a decent home game tomorrow night though which they will surely win. 1 Quote

BRFC4EVA Posted December 30, 2021 Posted December 30, 2021 Bit of a shame that Boro managed to nick a winner after conceding an injury time equalizer themselves. They're looking in threatening form Quote

Backroom DE. Posted December 30, 2021 Backroom Posted December 30, 2021 Fulham fans must be looking at what's going on and thinking WTF? How did the team we beat 7-0 on their own patch end up level on points with us less than two months later? Keeping in mind we were 12th at the time and 12 points behind Fulham who were still 2nd. Much like BBD's sudden transformation, it's unfathomable how we've ended up in this position. Like somebody went into the in-game editor in Football Manager, ramped up BBD's stats before the season started and then did the same for Mowbray's stats after the 7-0. 5 Quote

More of us are positive towards the team given this run, whether over optimistic or not, we should just let it evolve. The last 11 years have been horrible, I couldn't even enjoy chasing the title in League one, as it was league one. Let's just enjoy the optimising, No matter its strength, as a season where we may chase promotion back to our rightful place is a decade overdue. 1 Quote
