A player who didn’t play for the first team got replaced with a player who has very rarely played for the first team. Mind blowing stuff. Quote

BRFC4EVA Posted January 11, 2022 Posted January 11, 2022 Fulham 5 zip up over Reading. The top 2 will be really tough competition! Quote
G Somerset Rover Posted January 11, 2022 Posted January 11, 2022 (edited) This is why it’s Fulham and another for automatics. Far too good for this division when they’re on song. They simply blitz teams away - us included! Edited January 11, 2022 by Gavlar Somerset Rover! Quote
chaddyrovers Posted January 11, 2022 Author Posted January 11, 2022 Wouldn't surprise if Reading sack their head coach tomorrow Quote

They had 4 draws and a defeat from their last 5 games before tonight. Quote
Dreams of 1995 Posted January 11, 2022 Posted January 11, 2022 Luckily for us Bournemouth appointed Parker who imo isn’t that great a manager. He’s making hard work of it with Bournemouth with a good squad of players. 2 Quote

bazza Posted January 11, 2022 Posted January 11, 2022 We've just got to keep the same team as far as we can. Keep the back 3, Bucko in the middle and Diaz up front. Keep plugging away and, to quote TM, see where it takes us. 1 Quote

JHRover Posted January 11, 2022 Posted January 11, 2022 Quite happy for Fulham to win 7-0 from time to time if they have 5-6 game winless runs in between. Just need to focus on ourselves. Maintain our form since November through to May and we go up. Are likely to need 40 points to get there - 2 points a game (ish). Still think Fulham will win it comfortably and the only chance of automatic will be by finishing above Bournemouth. 4 Quote

And their next three games are against Boro, Huddersfield and QPR. 1 Quote

That's 2 decent keepers he's got rid of and we only have one in Kaminski. 1 Quote
roversfan99 Posted January 12, 2022 Posted January 12, 2022 Boro closing in on signing Riley McGree for a couple of million, outbidding Celtic to get him. They also are contributing to the wages of Folarin Balogun to get him on loan and have also loaned Aaron Connolly. Seem to be giving it a go. Quote

Boro's problems are up front so wilder has strength that department. Wilder is putting his stamp on it. Quote

Agreed plus they are being proactive, getting in players early including one for a couple of million. I wish we had done the same. 2 Quote

My hunch is no, despite us having the perfect opportunity. 1 Quote
JHRover Posted January 12, 2022 Posted January 12, 2022 One club has sold a training ground and £20 million player along with slashing the wage bill last summer and unable to keep existing good players, all supposedly due to FFP yet Middlesbrough no such problems. Amazing. 1 Quote

Amazing. Looks at the players sales fees to money spent on players transfers in. They have brought in more money then spent over 5 season Quote
