Just reading Posh had 8 shots on goal with 40% of the ball. QPR had 1 shot with 60%. Sounds like Rovers.

We have averaged the second lowest possession in the league.

Doubt it’d just be the clubs you mentioned for the last spot then.

In the next 7 weeks they will be plenty of twists and turns.

We will plenty of surprise results in the next few rounds of games.

The Championship is nothing but unpredictable and enjoyable to watch

I don’t doubt it. But you didn’t mention Luton or Sheff Utd in your post and said Boro and Forest will likely finish above us. Just pointing out that those two (Luton/Sheff Utd) will very likely finish above us too.

I don’t think that’s the case at the moment.

In the last 5 games

Fulham we had 37%

Millwall we have 56%

Bristol City we have 53%

Derby we had 41%

Reading we had 59%

So you are right what you are saying. Teams have worked out how we want to play and allow us more of the ball when we had our unbeaten run and winning games we had less possession and were defensive solid and scoring goals. But in recent games, we aren't pressing high, scoring goals or even keeping clean sheets. This is why I want to see a change of formation and go back to pressing high and counter attacking more

Boro and Forest have to win their games in hand and whether they will we will see in next few weeks.

But Rovers have to get back playing like we should be and win games. Without that we would be even in the run in for playoffs

Well it wasn't enjoyable yesterday, as the only team I am bothered about is the Rovers.

Who else would any Rovers fans be bothered about?

But other teams results in this last part of the season will part in Rovers either secure a playoff place or not

No they won't. The thing that will gain us a play-off place is our ability to win games. As has been mentioned before, some of the teams around us have to play each other. As well as meaning not all teams can gain on us every game. It also means not all teams can drop points to us. We have to do it for ourselves.

well it will actually relying on other teams losing as well Rovers needed to win games to get us back into the playoff picture

We can only try and get maximum points ourselves. We have no control over the outcome of other matches.

Hopefully we will have some of our key players back from injury to boost the squad.

I watched the last 20 minutes or so of the QPR game and they never remotely looked like scoring in that time, against the worst defence in the league, one which specialises in conceding late goals.

Forest & Boro replacing us & Hudds…No way we’re getting in the plays offs…Finish 8th-10th come May but with Mowbray Resigning will do me fine…

Please put Mowbray on gardening leave, maybe a bit of weeding round the outside of Ewood.

Let's be real, it's one of us, QPR, Luton and Hudds to join Boro Forest and Sheff Utd in there. And it's not going to be us now. Think we'll come bottom of that lot.

Back to 4-2-3-1 with Lenihan missing the next 1 or 2 matches and Nyambe back.

                         Kaminski

Nyambe - van Hecke - Wharton - Giles

                 Travis - Buckley/Rothwell

         Dolan   -   Dack   -   Khadra

                        Brereton

Khadra may also be missing with another niggle but you rotate various players into that position.

Especially now that Lenihan has torn his groin.

Not great at all. That said we might be forced to play Nayambe (assuming he is fit.) It's getting sunnier so Ayala should be able to cover at CB.
