Riversider28 Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 Excellent. I have the full set of programmes for the 1974/5 season, including the the two hard to find newspaper ones. It was a cracking season, although I missed a chunk of it as I was working in Cornwall. I went to the Plymouth away game, travelling on a football special train from Penzance. It was a miserable return journey after losing 2-1, but less than two weeks later we had our revenge at Ewood, thumping them 5-2. I was working with an Argyle fan, listening to the scores on the radio. At 2-0 down I was getting some severe stick, but when we pulled a goal back I shouted across the kitchen in a fit of pique, that’s it, we’re going to knock in five now. The Argyle lad just laughed. He wasn’t laughing at a quarter to five. 1 Quote
