I don't think there is anything formal. It was organised for charity by Rovers Community so not anything done officially by the club.

I think that they probably brought Park in on a short term 'consultancy' basis to navigate the summer window.

We were in a bit of a mess having just survived relegation, no money and all of Broughton's gang heading out the exit door.

Waggott needed someone familiar with the operation to come in quickly and identify a few players.

Now that things have 'settled down' by which I mean we are looking good for mid-table again and no squad reconstruction required, as well as having the latest public face to it in Gestede settled into his role, they've decided Park has served his purpose and isn't worth the wage.

Forget about January's window, we've seen first hand several times that there will be no serious recruitment done then other than a loan or two, so that buys them another 7 months to coast through to May and the Indian review meeting/budget setting and repeat again.

If there’s a power struggle it can only be with the others on the transfer committee.

My money is on Rudy being a massive bellend and trying to get his own signings in instead of Park’s choices. And Swag has backed Rudy.

How long do we put up with this, our club is getting dismantled year by year, on the pitch we might still be in tier two but off the pitch, non league clubs would put us to shame. No wonder there is so much apathy within the rapidly declining fan base, less and less of which continue to gather at the Ewood morgue. Just so heart breaking 😞

I looked that word up and it doesn’t exist. There was a word, despication, which means an expression of despite, but the word has been obsolete since 1830

You can’t plan football success “long term”, that’s a ridiculous idea. You can plan club development over the long term but that’s completely different.

Football wise you just have to go for it every season, every game. Players won’t hang around while the Gestedes’ of this world piss about thinking of tomorrow. It’s the here and now that counts, it’s all that counts in honesty. Planning long term for success on the field is for the hideaways, the cowards.

After his comments about the fans not understanding how things work...I wonder if he's realising we're exactly the ones who knew how things worked here and he could have saved himself some trouble if he'd asked us.
