Season ticket problem

Did anybody else have a problem with their season ticket today. Mine wouldn’t work at the turnstile and I had to get a paper replacement at the ticket office? I was told there had been a few like this.

I was under the impression  everyone needed a paper ticket for Saturday as the new turnstile system wasn't fully operational yet.

Seemingly I had the option to use my ST from 2 years ago thereafter but tbh I don't know where it is so I requested a new one for when the new batch of cards arrive.

Our paper tickets didn't scan, steward was clueless and said to go the ticket office. I just climbed over it was a few minutes to 3 so couldn't be arsed with that

Must have been in the minority my ST worked fine.

Same seat STs worked for my mate. I had a paper ticket because I changed seats. The new plastic season tickets are not available until the next home game.

It might not be amt consolation but North End had exactly the same problem with not having their plastic ST cards ready for the first game.

There seems to be problems all over.Liverpool's pre season friendly had to be delayed for 30 mins today after problems with their new ticketing system meant they had long queues at the turnstiles.

all 5  of our paper ticket did not scan but at least the steward scanned us in, i was told new season tickets have not arrived yet problem at suppliers

My STs have got lost in the fog of lockdown. No idea where they are. I popped in to the TO a week ago and was given paper tickets which worked well 

The guy who served me said all ST holders would be receiving new cards before the WBA game.

Our STs worked okay. I didn’t see any problems at the turnstiles.

Mine was from 2 years ago. Anyway I phoned the ticket office today and said it should have worked. they’re sending a new one now

I just used the paper ticket they sent me in the post. Sure they said they were sending new cards out? Either way, it doesn’t really matter to me, I’ve got my old one still and I’d bet it would be cheaper to re activate that, than produce new cards for all….
