Crimpshrine Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 Ainsworth has got his Wycombe team in the playoffs again. I'd be on the phone tomorrow if it was down to me. 2 Quote

chaddyrovers Posted May 1, 2022 Author Posted May 1, 2022 Well done Fleetwood for staying up yesterday. Salford City are on Sky tomorrow lunch time against Mansfield Town. Both teams need to win Quote

Glad to hear they’ve retained their history rather than some sort of bury 2022. I see this as Rovers future so at least all won’t be lost. 1 Quote

He said he can build a new squad with players he wants and mould them into a team playing how he wants to. Of course the huge difference between that and our situation is that at the moment we don't have anybody in place to start this process. And my real fear, based on the last twelve years, is that we won't have anybody yet for a few weeks and miss out on vital planning time for next season 2 Quote
Mattyblue Posted May 8, 2022 Posted May 8, 2022 That Bristol Rovers/Northampton battle in L2! Northampton won 3-1 at Barrow, so Bristol Rovers needed to win by 7 goals to nab automatic promotion… they scored their 7th in the 85th minute. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/61364370 1 Quote
Exiled_Rover Posted May 9, 2022 Posted May 9, 2022 Watching Evans jog around the centre circle for Sunderland passing backwards and sideways is giving me a warm glow inside. What a nothing player. 5 Quote

LDRover Posted May 9, 2022 Posted May 9, 2022 Unbelievable atmosphere at Hillsborough tonight for that game. 2 huge clubs for that level and sickening for Wednesday to lose like that. Will still not be surprised if Wycombe win the final though. 1 Quote

roverandout Posted May 9, 2022 Posted May 9, 2022 Going further back. We had just won the league. Harford gets the job. We make one signing. Matty Holmes. Another pretty awful player Quote

Wouldn't surprise me if Ainsworth takes Wycombe up again. That said, the championship would be a better place with both Sunderland and Sheffield Wednesday in it. 2 Quote
BRFC4EVA Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 There was 45k at first leg and 33k at the 2nd leg of that playoff game. In the 3rd tier of English football.. Quote

inflikted Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 Scary stuff in League One tonight as Wycombe striker Tjay De Barr collapsed at FT. Plymouth manager said in post-match interview that Tjay was coughing up blood after a rough collision and went down holding his chest before losing consciousness. Paramedics rushed onto the pitch and took him to hospital. Wycombe boss wasn't available for comment as he went to the hospital with De Barr, but updates have been steadily coming through and he's in a "good" condition but they're doing tests to find out why he collapsed and coughed up blood. 2 Quote

Wasn’t Gally coughing up blood after that centre half at Luton elbowed him in the chest last season ? Let’s hope the lad is back playing again soon. Quote
