Still dont understand why we have a sperate thread for this signing. Sure, if it was a Ronaldo, Shearer, or Alan Judge, sure.

The signing of two short but tricky wingers, in Poveda and Khadra, to add to Dolan and Chapman, surely, must mean that Mowbray plans to play with wingers (or a winger) in a 4-3-3 or 4-5-1 or, even, 4-4-2. If we continue to see Brereton and Gallagher on the flanks, the signings will make no sense. If this is not the end to the protracted striker-out-wide experiment, I'm not sure there's the slightest of hopes for Rovers with Mowbray.

Last year we had three strikers for one central and two wide berths - this season we’ve also got this guy and Poveda who seem actually wide players on the face of it.

Obviously performances will dictate how we view this and other signings but I genuinely feel we’ve more balance in the forward line - albeit without adding more depth to the central position.
