What are your thoughts? ST prices - lack of loyalty, why are we so expensive, when we're nowhere near capacity. Brockhall academy - stop trying to sell it, if you are going to consolidate consolidate in a space that's more than 15 acres as you're trying to pull the wool over the fans eyes. The fact he wasn't open with the fans about the plans was a disgrace too. You've lost all trust for the fans for doing a pretty bad job. Quote

Out of touch with the disposal income of your 'average' Rovers fan and/or resident within the clubs catchment area. 4) Away fans at Ewood 5) Brockhall Academy - rumbled and gone into hiding ever since. More I'm sure. What are your thoughts? I'd have him out the door tomorrow - totally out of touch with fans on virtually every level and IMO wholly unsuitable for the position of CEO of our football club. 14 Quote
1864roverite Posted August 9, 2021 Posted August 9, 2021 Guilty of gross incompetence. His idea of commercialism at the club is shockingly poor. His management and leadership abilities are seriously lacking. His planning, forethought and inability to plan are non existent. His visionary ability isn’t there whilst basic common sense in respect of building the club along with the support is just a fucking complete nonsense. That’s about it in a nutshell I want him out of my club and at the earliest opportunity. Donald Duck and the muppet show would do a better job🤬 2 Quote
Miller11 Posted August 9, 2021 Posted August 9, 2021 A terrible, terrible appointment. Came in and made the right noises, but he is clearly in a job that is way beyond his capabilities. His track record supports this. He is bad at everything, has zero successes, can’t see how he’s met a single objective and has seen us regress in many ways. As well as being absolutely rubbish and completely out of touch, he’s also vindictive and dishonest. 7 Quote
Popular Post arbitro Posted August 9, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 9, 2021 He has been extremely poor in his role as CEO and it appears he has dramatically failed in all of his objectives. The worst thing for me was him trying to sell the STC and, along with others disrespect one of the wonderful legacies of the Jack Walker era. Him and his cohorts have overseen several years of massive losses primarily because they have spent significantly over our income level with huge amounts being spent on wages for no return. I have said before there are posters on this site I know personally who could do his job to a far, far greater standard for a lot less than the reported £300k Waggott earns yearly. I wish he would go and take his co conspirators with him. FOW. 14 Quote
JacknOry Posted August 9, 2021 Posted August 9, 2021 Its not what you know but who you know. How fortunate this guy is to be best mates with Mowbray, the employee that employed his boss., 3 Quote
tomphil Posted August 9, 2021 Posted August 9, 2021 To go from 25 quid walk on v Swansea to 32 for WBA is the work of a dick pure and simple. Young team really needs support, club really needs fans, most people are a bit fed up of the manager etc, nearly 10k home fans turn up. Then this and that's before selling the main asset and not re-investing. One step forward, two backwards. Dickhead shows what he's all about, 300k a year for this. The man is just guaranteeing his own pay on the back of what's left of the fanbase. 3 Quote

tomphil Posted August 9, 2021 Posted August 9, 2021 (edited) Seems to do a lot of working from home apparently which is handy if you can't really be arsed coming up here. If he hadn't landed this gig off the scrapheap he'd probably be a consultant at Dagenham and Redbridge or something. When mowbray was waffling recently and feeling sorry for the billionaire owners and himself as usual he did mention the re-signing of players was down to his CEO and not himself. Was that the sound of Steve going under the bus ? Edited August 9, 2021 by tomphil Quote

Bluerover78 Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 He never thinks out the box unfortunately, look at what Motherwell have offered to fans on low incomes for an idea on what we could offer. Prices for Wba are shocking, not many walk ons, I hate seeing fans shafted just because they bring a large following. Should be no categories it's the championship ffs. Also putting away fans in top tier is shite, prefer a better atmosphere tbh. Trying to sell the training ground is shocking/ unforgivable. The ground is looking tired in places, could offer jobs to local companies to spruce the place up a little, a lick of paint and a jet wash for starters. I have no confidence if he went we would replace him with anyone with any nous. Sadly think people realise the owners can be taken advantage of and can line their own pockets if they get in a position of power at Ewood. 3 Quote
davulsukur Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 It's been pretty well covered by all the posts in here so far. Not a single positive post regarding Waggott tells you all you need to know. Quote
JohnGo Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 He’s just one of the Gang of Four that needs to go. They all have a hidden agenda, the longer they stay the more likely Brockhall will be sold and the money vanishes from the club. Quote
MarkBRFC Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 (edited) The fact his annual salary works out at more per week than Nyambe is getting tells you all you need to know. Edited August 10, 2021 by MarkBRFC Quote
