Mr Steve Waggot, I know you read these pages so please let it be known, you are going to be known as one of the most disliked chairmen/CEO in the clubs 150 years history.

Show some integrity, you've had a good ride and you've been rewarded financially for all your lies and failures.

Step down, retire, give Rovers fans some hope for the future.

Integrity? He'd have to look up the meaning of the word.

Why do it? He can't need the money or stress, he's well past retirement age. Most people his age would have had their feet up or be enjoying golf, he's spending his retirement years running this madhouse.

Where obscene amounts of money can be ‘earned’ with very little effort, unscrupulous individuals rise to the surface. Football is rife with them.

Ask yourself the question of why a bloke, 71 in a few months, apparently based down in Kent, with zero connection to this area, continues to put himself through the stresses and strains of heading up an organisation like Rovers.

He's working for horrendous owners, having to oversee and implement budget cuts, has overseen countless transfer window and contract debacles, a filthy crumbling stadium etc.

Why do it? He can't need the money or stress, he's well past retirement age. Most people his age would have had their feet up or be enjoying golf, he's spending his retirement years running this madhouse.

The only logical explanation for this of course is that the gig isn't a bad one at all, infact it is a fantastic position to occupy for someone with no pride, ambition, drive, because you can just keep things ticking over year on year, meeting your targets, collecting your salary and 'handling' the fans and media with 3-6 monthly 'updates' which are basically just attempts to make excuses and kick the can down the road until the next time comes.

People in far less 'important' or 'senior' roles - for example cleaners, drivers, maintenance staff, catering - would have jumped into retirement with far less cash behind them than he has years ago.

My view is that, just like with politicians, the gravy train is too good to give up voluntarily and the job is nowhere near as stressful or demanding as they would have us believe.

Ego.

We’ve had a cancer in our club for some time now, he’s just another part that’s spread. We’re 5th in the league but my head is down! Know it’s going to be the same shit that keeps coming. Maybe by some miracle Eustace gets us there, think we all know what’s going to happen though..

Waggotts latest wheeze will be to delay an appointment of head coach until the summer. As we are virtually assured of Championship status for another season it's an opportunity to save some money on head coach wages.

Swag and Suhail are doing the job requested of them, cut costs and get the club to be self-funding.

He’ll go when he’s had enough and not before.

i don`t think any club is self funding, even the massive ones like liverpool and man utd, they all need cash injections from their owners,it`s daft idea and doomed to failure, especially in a smallish club like ours

This is a problem with the game. There's so much money in it and the players just line their pockets. How on earth can clubs the size of Manchester United be struggling to make money with the turnover they have? Because players wages are disgusting. It's unsustainable.

He screwed Coventry & charlton over well n truely dragged them down into the dumps grounds 3/4 empty looked good on stats on saving money but in the end the data spread sheets came and caught him up- now he has no bosses above him again he is doing the same its an utter shambles not just him but pasha aswell.  If i ran my business like they run rovers id be on minus ratings and reviews would be shocking going into insolencey
