I fully expect Mr Waggott to quote the above when increasing season tickets prices for the 23-24 season.

Well I guess if you can't afford a £750 season ticket then you just aren't really that loyal.

Don't moan about the price of season tickets. If people are not happy with the price, then don't buy one. This is not aimed at anyone in particular.

Yep. And new applicants will be charged at £459-559.

Then next season prices will be "held" at the above and rinse and repeat.

A ST in the Blackburn End will be over £500 by 2025.

Less is more to Steve.

Less fans paying more that is, which means less stewards, turnstiles, less cleaning up staff etc etc

Poundshop operator, think small.

We were told by his coffee drinking spokesman on here that they'd sorted the pitch last summer.

Well considering its been rather mild recently with no record rainfall it isn't looking great in areas for all that alleged extra investment.

Lets be honest it was another dose of bull for what was just the usual summer seeding and maintenance.

I was told there will be some investment (£750k) but this is from a payment/grant from the Premier League which is effectively to allow the Rovers Ladies to play their home games at Ewood from next season. It won't be a Desso pitch but large areas will be stitched.

It was the owners that decided against the full pitch revamp, it was in the fans forum minutes that they had asked them for the funding and they declined. So the blame lies in India.

Probably not aiding the numerous muscular injuries we are picking up, 4 hamstrings in 2 games.

I think if the opposition teams are also picking injuries up then your argument holds water,  otherwise its just our lack of peak physical fitness.

Were Wigan’s injuries anything to do with the pitch?

I think the sheer volume of games in a short period is one of the main factors in these injuries. By next Tuesday we will have played thirteen games since the turn of the year. The stupid World Cup break and FA Cup run have exacerbated this.

That can't be true.

They've never refused to sign a cheque.

With Sheffield United at home next in the league, and with our playoff hopes now feeling real, what better opportunity than now to take advantage and get more bums on seats with a bundled ticket deal for the run in? Over to you, Steve...

Norwich on Good Friday should be £10 in all areas, no strings, and then market the hell out of it. Get a bumper Easter crowd in to roar them on against a play off rival.

(Obviously this won’t happen and it will be the standard Cat B, £25 to £30)

I came on this thread to say the exact same thing.

An extra 5k-10k fans for each of the final 7 games now could make a huge difference - we have the momentum on the pitch, we have to try and capitalise off it.

Time to earn your salary, Steve...

Bit optimistic there, Andy! Bundles normally sell in their low hundreds at best (often I don’t think they’ve even reached three figures). Need to remember that bundles are in essence mini season tickets and a lot of your floating fanbase aren’t interested in tying themselves into a group of games, that’s why they haven’t already bought a full or half ST.

Make individual games cheaper, no strings attached is the way to go.

*Narrator: The CEO did neither.*

Waggot will come out with the same old bollocks about not being able to reduce ticket prices, because it will not be fair to season ticket holders. All he needs to do is reduce the ticket prices, then let season ticket holders into the home game, if we get in the play-offs, as part of the season ticket to make up for the reduction.
