benhben Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 Bellingham is unbelievable for a 19 year old. Looks the complete midfielder.Β Dortmunds scouting system is something to behold to pluck him out of the Birmingham side aged 17. 2 Quote

DavidMailsTightPerm Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 Looks like Pickford will be No1. Pope distribution has been shocking in both matches - and now that mistake 3 Quote
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted September 26, 2022 Moderation Lead Posted September 26, 2022 If theyβre going to pick a keeper that isnβt Pickford- Ramsdale should be that man, as far as Iβm concerned. 5 Quote
J*B Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 Agreed, Ramsdale is the best keeper. Canβt have Pickford simply because heβs used to playing for a team that donβt keep clean sheets.Β If I was manager and went to the world cup tomorrow, this would be my teamβ¦ Ramsdale Walker Stones TomoriΒ Trent Bellingham Rice ChilwellΒ Foden Kane Sterling 2 Quote
bazza Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 Pickford for me for England, that is. 3 Quote
bazza Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 Germany seem to produce superb keepers. Neuer and now Ter Stegen. Β Quote
roverandout Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 Pickford is head and shoulders better than the others. He never mistakes for England.Β I'm really pissed off with Pope. His team mates work their arses to come back and he has one simple job.Β He's never good enough.Β He made a fuck up against Poland not so long ago.Β 1 Quote

Saka was so good when he came on I could see one of Foden or Sterling being dropped. Maguire was generally pretty good today but two really poor mistakes. I think he should get dropped as you can't afford to give goals away. We can play Walker, Stones and Dier across the back. But Southgate isn't going to drop him, or he would have by now. Darrenbot Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 Tomori must be wondering what he has to do to get a place in the team instead of the carthorse that is Maguire 3 Quote
RoverDom Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 Pickford has never let England down. There's one or two players who are completely different for England than they are with their club. Pickford is one of them.Β 5 Quote

Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted September 26, 2022 Moderation Lead Posted September 26, 2022 Iβd sooner we continued with James at right back too. Β For me, heβs the best all round full back we have. His all round game is better than Trent Iβd say, though Trent is much better going forward, obviously. 3 Quote
roversfan99 Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 Surely one positive from that game is that Southgate can finally see how bad Maguire is? Who am I kidding, first name on the team sheet. Dier is a waste of time aswell. 2 Quote

Terrible mistake but he looked fairly solid He is a walking disaster, the first goal was not an isolated example of his clumsiness, and it didnt end with his mistake for the second either. He shouldnt be in the squad which is damning in itself considering how poor our pool of centre backs are. 2 Quote
