He makes a lot of mistakes but his raw materials are so good and he scores and creates goals at a very young age. Big time..looks like he's been watching Henry with those curling efforts. 1 Quote

Sparks Rover Posted September 14, 2021 Posted September 14, 2021 My overall view is that Pickering is a very poor defender. No upper body strength and very timid with Wilkes. 2 Quote
joey_big_nose Posted September 14, 2021 Posted September 14, 2021 This is the first game I've really been able to properly watch. Clarkson seems a total non entity to me. Anyone rate him? Quote
booth Posted September 14, 2021 Posted September 14, 2021 Corner kick to us ends up with Kaminski within 5 seconds. Moments later Hull almost score. Sums up Mony Towbrays Rovers. Quote

So I've figured out Buckley is playing right wing. I'm a fan of his but he isn't a winger. We've got two wingers on the bench - Khadra and Butterworth. Wtf? My point exactly, square root of fuck all in the locker. 1 Quote
superniko Posted September 14, 2021 Posted September 14, 2021 We’re getting overrun by a Richie Smallwood midfield. A good manager gets so much more out of Nyambe, Travis, Rothwell. Depressing seeing another season unfold like this knowing nothing will change. Just hope there are 3 teams worse than us. 2 Quote

Even 1 year extension options, should they be available for Brereton, may only delay the inevitable. Edited September 14, 2021 by riverholmes Quote
benhben Posted September 14, 2021 Posted September 14, 2021 Looking poor at home against a side near the bottom who haven't scored in 5 games. Exciting times..... 1 Quote
Popular Post davulsukur Posted September 14, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 14, 2021 This is absolutely unacceptable. Second best at home to fucking Hull City Pack your bags Mowbray, absolute clown. 17 Quote
Fraserkirky Posted September 14, 2021 Posted September 14, 2021 Played off the park by league one fodder. Just embarrassing Clarkson and Buckley are the same type of player and you can barely get away with one of them, nevermind two. 8 Quote
booth Posted September 14, 2021 Posted September 14, 2021 Going off that Hull are going to win this. 2 Quote
Angry_Pirate Posted September 14, 2021 Posted September 14, 2021 This Rovers team is as boring as the OAP managing them. Zzzzzzzz. Hull should stop low key time-wasting and actually try for the 3 points that are there for them. This is bad. 1 Quote

Backroom Silas Posted September 14, 2021 Backroom Posted September 14, 2021 So bad. I keep zoning out and feels like I'm watching a giant killing FA Cup tie on the BBC. Wolves v Aldershot Town or something. Ffs. Quote

One reason season ticket sales are down. Folk just fed up.. 4 Quote
joey_big_nose Posted September 14, 2021 Posted September 14, 2021 Clarkson needs to get hooked for one of the wingers. Apart from that I haven't really got a scooby. Just nothing on the bench. 1 Quote

I gave him a bit of a slagging last season but feels like a game where Bradley Johnson would help get control in the middle. We just have a load of lightweight players in midfield now. 1 Quote
Proudtobeblue&white Posted September 14, 2021 Posted September 14, 2021 (edited) Abject again, never really on the front foot, but what do you expect from a dinosaur who sets us up not to lose to a team that can't score. Needs change, and that's from the top down. Edited September 14, 2021 by Proudtobeblue&white Quote
OsloRover Posted September 14, 2021 Posted September 14, 2021 (edited) Brereton just isn’t pressing enough to play as a lone striker, also we are far too deep most of the time. Edited September 14, 2021 by OsloRover Quote

RTM08 Posted September 14, 2021 Posted September 14, 2021 To be fair Tony did say that he didn't do formations... and good god does it show. 1 Quote
