You are trying to play the man and not the ball as the phrase is. Yet again, I haven't told anyone when or whether they should attend or even how many times. So why the hell are you going on about that for I have zero idea Yes u did. You said you should go and support the boys. Is that not telling someone what they should be doing with their free time? Mattyblue Posted March 14, 2022 Posted March 14, 2022 (edited) Lost thousands more ST holders over the last couple of years, crowds have therefore stayed fairly low. The end. Edited March 14, 2022 by Mattyblue 2 Quote
JHRover Posted March 14, 2022 Posted March 14, 2022 The evidence to date, if you believe in such things as crowd numbers and away fans, is that the increase in numbers / relocation of the away fans to upstairs in the DE has actually had a detrimental effect on results. Because since Xmas there has been a clear increase in home fan numbers, even putting them behind both goals recently, yet we've struggled for goals and wins. Back in the early stages of the season we had away fans downstairs behind the goals and were getting 10,000 total crowds yet were scoring more and winning more. Maybe they need to look at that. Quote
Mattyblue Posted March 14, 2022 Posted March 14, 2022 Hang on ,so there aren’t any ‘marginal gains’ to be had by moving 500 away fans from the lower tier to the upper?! 1 Quote

Mattyblue Posted March 15, 2022 Posted March 15, 2022 And if you can’t make night games, you don’t pay £20. The next two weekend games are priced £30-£36. Is that affordable or good value for this level of football? 1 Quote

tomphil Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 So we are probably only going to have about 10k home fans for the next few games due to pricing. All the recent bits of good work undone in a flash just to try and grab a couple of grand back. Well done, real sterling work. Quote
Mattyblue Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 Though saying that, even though the club was stating Blackpool would be Cat A to try and push floating fans towards that shite Final 5 bundle. I’m sure I spotted the big screen last night showing prices for it starting at £25, so Cat B. Which would be the best you could hope for considering there will be a sizeable away contingent Swag will want to fleece… Quote
only2garners Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 You did Matty. I was just about to question your post saying the next 2 home games were Cat A as i saw the ads as well. Quote
JHRover Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 Yes on the stadium planner for Blackpool adults are £25 starting price. Quote
Mattyblue Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 Bit of common sense down there. Hallelujah Quote
MarkBRFC Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 In the "Final 5" article on the website it definitely said that Blackpool & Stoke would be category A to justify the price of the Final 5 ticket. Article confirms that the game has been reduced from a cat A to B. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2022/march/16/ticket-news--rovers-v-blackpool/ Quote
