booth Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Here's my summary of the match. Playing crap. Cardiff looking more likely to score. Gallagher scores a surprisingly well taken goal. Following that, absolutely World Class for about half an hour as Superdag and co rampage and dominate the match and score two more goals. Half time. Score fourth goal. Revert to crap again, Cardiff peppering the goal and scoring. 90 minutes. Amazing scenes on the Brerediaz Hat-Trick penalty. Overall, outstanding. 3 Quote
Popular Post OldEwoodBlue Posted September 25, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 25, 2021 Im going to stick my neck out and say the major difference so far this season is having a leader on the pitch in Ayala. 30 Quote
yankfan Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Love seeing so many young players and players that have come through the ranks. Just needed to be forced to play our own instead of signing the experienced players who couldn’t cut it elsewhere. Dolan, Buckly, Travis, Lenihan, Naymbe, Diaz, Carter all been part of the club as teenagers. Gives hope to all the kids in the club. Brilliant stuff. 5 Quote
OldEwoodBlue Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 That was the first Rovers game I have enjoyed watching in several seasons. Credit to all the team today and Tony. 9 Quote

Popular Post CambridgeRover Posted September 25, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 25, 2021 For the first time in Tony Mowbray's tenure as manager, Rovers have won a game while occupying a play-off spot in the Championship. 19 Quote
bluebruce Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 38 percent possession today. Please never bring out that possession tactic again Tony. Learn your lesson for once. 5 Quote
lraC Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Over the moon with that especially Brereton. Loved Buckley today too and how much difference has a fit Ayala made? Hope we can keep this going, as there is some belief again and some new heroes emerging. Perhaps a bit of strength in depth too, as a couple still to return, including Dack and Wharton. 5 Quote

Popular Post tonyoz Posted September 25, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 25, 2021 (edited) I may have more good news. Some may remember that I complained bitterly that my 170 pound international “pass” for Rovers TV did not include extended highlights or full match replays. Well Cardiffcityfc.com.au run their own tv service (via the same mob as Rovers tv……streamamg) and they provide FULL MATCH REPLAYS FOR FREE. From the Cardiff site: I tried it out on their last couple of matches and it worked perfectly, I didn’t even have to subscribe! So, the Rovers match should be available by about noon tomorrow at cardiffcityfc.com.uk I forgot to say that “extended highlights” are available too. Edited September 25, 2021 by tonyoz 11 Quote

Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted September 25, 2021 Moderation Lead Posted September 25, 2021 Seeing too much baiting and too many reported posts for my liking after a 5-1 win. We were mint today, enjoy it and stop sniping at each other please. I’ll only say this once. 7 Quote
dallydally Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Not a Buckley fan but today he had a terrific game Super performance overall; will enjoy the rest of the weekend 2 Quote
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted September 25, 2021 Moderation Lead Posted September 25, 2021 On a more positive note- I really enjoyed today, we thoroughly deserved that win and there were many good things to be happy about. Credit to the players and of course the management team for today, barring conceding a goal from a set play, we couldn’t have done much more today! 2 Quote
davulsukur Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 I don't think anyone saw that coming! Superb win and delighted that Diaz bagged his first career hat trick 👏 Can't believe we were 6th going into the game and actually managed to win! 2 Quote
Wheelton Blue Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Ayala makes such a massive difference, steady as a rock that guy. Special mention to Pickering today also; he was excellent. 8 Quote
chaddyrovers Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 (edited) What a great win today and we played the perfect attacking performance playing on the counter attack. Buckley played a wonderful pass to Gallagher for the first goal. Dolan's ball for the second goal was perfect for Brereton to volley in. Great finish Brereton got 2 lucky deflections but when in form they go for you. Dolan's goal was a good ball by Brereton to Gallagher headed down in the path for Dolan to poked home for the fourth. Brereton slotted home for the fifth from the Penalty slot. Brereton now has 7 goals this season in 9 games, Gallagher has 3 goals in 7 games and Dolan 2 goals in 9 games. They are stepping up and performing very well. They deserved alot of the credit for doing so. Rovers played very well and Dolan and Buckley closing down and work rated was excellent all game. Alaya was excellent for us at the ball and he can now empty his pocket out and drop Moore at the Bus stop to catch it home to Cardiff. He kept him quiet all game. strong leadership at the back. Disappointed not to keep a clean sheet but Cardiff were a constant threat from set pieces. Mowbray deserved alot of credit his team selection and today win. Plus changing tactics and making us more solid defensive and playing on the counter attack much more. The Players are really enjoying the way they are playing and for the manager. The fans were excellent again today. Good atmosphere today COYB!!!🔵⚪ Edited September 25, 2021 by chaddyrovers 7 Quote
Popular Post Miller11 Posted September 25, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 25, 2021 (edited) That was brilliant. Every credit to Mowbray… have to say it was a masterclass from him today. The front three were all fantastic and deserved their goals. Special mention to Brereton, I never thought he had a hat trick in him, but I’m now starting to get a bit giddy about the bet. Buckley also making his doubters look a bit daft. while the scorers get the plaudits, he was probably MOTM. Back 4 rock solid again. Special mention to Nyambe - looks unbeatable and that header off the line was as important as a goal. Anyone who claims he looks disinterested is talking utter bollocks. Ayala makes such a difference. Liked the look of Edun in his brief cameo. If your being really picky you can moan a bit about Kaminski’s kicking at times, and Rothwell was probably only a 6/10 amongst a lot of 8 plus performances… but what a day!! Hope Venky’s watch and sanction the improved offers for those out of contract players. Edited September 25, 2021 by Miller11 11 Quote
