roversfan99 Posted October 30, 2021 Posted October 30, 2021 Ramsdale has started well at Arsenal although it has only been 7 games, meanwhile Henderson has spent most of the last year sat on his arse and Johnstone is playing in the Championship. I'm not sure that the comparison is much different. 1 Quote

jim mk2 Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 Armstrong for Soton at Watford. Just like with Rovers he missed so many chances. Won’t be long before saints fans wondering whether they’ve wasted money Quote

Bigdoggsteel Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 Got an assist for their goal though. I could see it clicking for him and going on a goalscoring run there. He doesn't look far off it Quote
Wheelton Blue Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 (edited) By playing regularly with better players and being coached by better coaches, Armstrong will become a half-decent PL striker. Edited October 31, 2021 by Wheelton Blue 1 Quote
Bigdoggsteel Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 (edited) He could become a very good one even. He has it in his locker to score all types of goals. He just needs to keep getting in positions and keep the head up I think Edited October 31, 2021 by Bigdoggsteel Quote
rigger Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 Hurrah, Burnley back in the bottom three. 6 Quote
Blue blood Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 (edited) I appreciate this is football analysis at its most I'm depth but Norwich are utterly stuffed. Edited October 31, 2021 by Blue blood Quote
Backroom DE. Posted October 31, 2021 Backroom Posted October 31, 2021 Think Norwich might be on course to surpass Derby as worst ever PL team. Derby managed 11 points, and Norwich have only managed 2 from a possible 30 so far. Keeping in mind that Norwich are, I think, already 6th worst in history from the 19/20 season. Quote
chaddyrovers Posted October 31, 2021 Author Posted October 31, 2021 Look like Nuno is going to sack by Spurs. Rumours about Levy was unhappy at yesterday performance and is meeting the Spurs's Sporting Director Fabio Paratici to discuss Nuno's future at Spurs. Quote

He was never first choice and never a popular appointment either by the fans. Spurs should go for Brighton's Graham Potter. He plays the way Spurs fans want to play. Quote
chaddyrovers Posted October 31, 2021 Author Posted October 31, 2021 Very surprised that Newcastle haven't appoint a new head coach or Sporting Director yet. Seems they have been turn down by a number of managers so far according to reports. Belgium's manager Roberto Martinez is the bookies favourite on Sky Bet. Tho I did online that former Monaco manager Jardim could be possible option for them Quote
roversfan99 Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 Norwich are embarrassing themselves in the Premier League again. They received so much credit initially for how their club is run but ultimately I suppose that coming out and admitting that you expect relegation before a season has started will limit the quality of player that you can bring in. Their recruitment has been shite too, selling their best player and bringing in kids on loan that aren't good enough as well as a couple of other incompetent loanees and random shite from across Europe (Rashica, Sargent etc) and they are so far away from the standard that it is untrue. Good to see Newcastle get battered yesterday, would be hilarious if they went down. 1 Quote
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 Never rated Moyes as a Manager but he has this West Ham side playing some good football. 1 Quote

Farke is a good championship manager but hasn't got the tactical knowledge or the coaching ability to set the defensively right at Premier League level. Buendia has moved to a bigger club in Villa and Norwich did received over 30 million pounds. Can you blame Buendia for wanting to move on or Norwich selling for that price? On the Norwich Summer recruitment, they spent 60 million pounds on 12 summer signings. Both Sargent and Rashica was signed from Werder Bremen for a combine price of 19 million pounds, For me, the best signing they made judging by what I have seen of their games is loan signing Mathias Normann from Rostov. 25 minutes ago, SIMON GARNERS 194 said: Never rated Moyes as a Manager but he has this West Ham side playing some good football. I personally don't think that selling by far your best player when promoted to the top league is a particularly positive move, and they haven't come close to replacing him. Quote

chaddyrovers Posted November 1, 2021 Author Posted November 1, 2021 Spurs sacked Nuno Espirito Santo. No surprised at all. Never going to last there after not being 1st choice or the fans choice Quote
davulsukur Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Spurs went for pretty much every manager out there before ending up with Nuno. Who are they going to go for now? Quote

roverandout Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Sacking pochetinho was a huge mistake. Serves them right Quote
Waggy76 Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 I think the Spurs target maybe is also a Newcastle target and panicked into this ? God knows who will go to either club , Spurs are infinitely better placed at the moment ... Big Sam for the Geordies that would be Karma 🤣🤣🤣 Quote
