Everton’s fixtures are insane. Burnley stay up, Rovers go from 2nd to 8th. As seasons go this is an especially shite one.

I want Everton to go down, so wasn't sure what result I wanted tonight. Hoping Watford can pull through and send them both down.

Do I want Everton to get a result against United? I do and I don't, at the same time. United dropping points is always good. A draw would be ok, I guess.

I’m honestly not playing this down but genuinely,  I think this is the season we go down. Results like tonight are few and far between, we still need to win more games than we have all season.

Tbf this was/is the year they should. With the barcodes money and the competence of promoted Brentford, there weren't many candidates for relegation. In fact it's only the utterly appalling appointment of Lampard that has dragged Everton into this mess and given them an out.
