Exiled_Rover Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 Love Brereton telling those two Huddersfield defenders to do one. He's matured so much. 6 Quote

West Yorks Rover Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 Mowbray back to normal, bet we lose at Blackpool too. 1 Quote
CrouchingNunhiddenCucumber Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 A Tony Mowbray team that lose because they're fucking muck at defending, shock horror. The journey continues 5 Quote

Mowbray has taken a massive suicide dive here. Mowbray's subs have been great for Huddersfield tonight. Same as last year and year before that, we'll look back on matches like this and Luton and realise how many points silly decisions have lost us. 1 Quote
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 Tinkerman returns. So do the defeats. Just saying. 3 Quote
BigBar Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 Could Buckley not have pulled the trigger rather than fling himself on the floor? Quote
Tugay-is-God Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 Chapman seems like he would offer more than Poveda/Khadra, no? 5 Quote
Wheelton Blue Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 Backs to the wall so he brings on a trio of lightweights. Mowbray will never change. 5 Quote
RTM08 Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 Glad to see Mowbray padded the squad out with loans who are either too unfit to play or belong 2 divisions below... yet again wasting limited resources so that his pals at the big clubs can big him up as some kind of football guru whilst it stops us from ever progressing. 6 Quote
simongarnerisgod Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 thats a bad result imo, beaten and outfought by a nothing side who rely on sheer effort,i f*****g hope the death spiral is`nt immenent 1 Quote
G Somerset Rover Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 (edited) Simply cannot defend like that and expect anything. Calling it schoolboy is unfair to kids footie. When the hell is this Brighton defender gonna be fit? Cannot be reliant on the likes of Magloire who are frankly dreadful. Edited September 28, 2021 by Gavlar Somerset Rover! Quote
RoversClitheroe Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 Can you send loanees back midway through the season? Poveda and Clarkson awful. 8 Quote

West Yorks Rover Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 Get Mowbray out before Saturday, we could still have a decent season. 2 Quote

If I was giving him the benefit of the doubt I'd argue that it stinks of guaranteed playing time for loanees. Personally I just think he's a terrible manager. 1 Quote
Torgeir Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 Gave it a good go. Short cameos but not impressed by Poveda and Clarkson of what I've seen from them so far. Incredible that Butterworth can't get amongst the action tonight instead of Poveda but I guess that's in the loan deal. 1 Quote
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 Reality check all round there. All about staying up this season as expected. Then binning Mowbray. 2 Quote
WacoRover Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 A big thanks to Ollie Walker-Peel, who does an excellent job on game day commentary, on rovers chat. Thank you, Ollie! 1 Quote
chaddyrovers Posted September 28, 2021 Author Posted September 28, 2021 Very disappointed to lose that game. The game changed when Rothwell went off at 2-2 Rovers defending for both second half goals weren't good enough. Maglorie not good enough in either goal. Brereton took his goals well and now has 9 goals for the season. We missed Captain Lenihan tonight. 2 Quote

Their RL attendances are an absolute joke and they contribute nothing to that sport either. Quote

JacknOry Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 Lost patience with Gallagher now. Sure, he is out of position but ffs, basic ability he does not have. 2 Quote
Torgeir Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 Khadra can tear this league apart, a lot of raw potential there. 1 Quote
